I bought for my Tesla model Y and is using over 3 years and works great. No issues at all with my 6-2 wire.

This one looks like it is continuous duty not just 1 or 2 hours like the others. Won't overheat on chargers.

It was slightly smaller than old one.

The price is worth to order this product. It looks very equivalent to the ones are being sold for much higher prices at Local stores

I bought this product solely for my Tesla home charger. I never unplugged and plugged and last night my car slowed down charging to trickle and in the message said cut to high temperature of the plug. So it melted the plug. It says life time warranty but don’t be fooled. The Hubbell and Bryant NEMA 14-50 plug are both made from Hubbell and both appear to be basically the same. These are both made to withstand the high temperature needs of charging a Tesla. With these 2 options, you will have a much safer charging experience at your home.

Very solid terminals

Added a 50 amp circuit to the outside of the shop to allow the welder cart better access to projects outside of the regular shop area. This outlet appears to be good quality and at a great price.

I had installed a different brand receptacle that lasted three years. Cars charged at 32A/30MPH without a problem for three years - then suddenly, I was only getting 16A/15MPH charge! I replaced my other receptacle with this unit and it solved a slow charging problem. Tesla recommends this unit! It works for me!
