Recent studies have proven that up to 100 feet of tubing can be used without a significant (less than 1%) decrease in oxygen flow and delivery. The tube is a standard size that fits most oxygen concentrators. If a plain oxygen tubing fits your device, this retractable tubing would also fit.

Retractable tubing does not come with a cannula; but it is compatible with any oxygen cannula that has standard fittings. Basically you just use a standad oxygen connector (like ASIN B00AQ6D794) to attach the two items together.

Q: What type of material is the tube itself made of?

It is a material a bit thicker and harder than ordinary plastic tubing. Probably polyvinyl. It works very well to reduce the tangles, accidental snags and stepping on long tubing. My wife has been using this tubing and she is very happy with it. She uses this with a short cannula rather than long tubing.
