I was going on a short weekend trip with my family and wanted to be able to watch my pet while being away. I found this little camera on Amazon, at a great price and with good reviews. so, I went ahead and bought it.The camera comes with a set of instructions, and a USB power adapter with approximately 6' of USB cable. To quickly test the camera operation, you will first plug in the camera and download the Osaio app as instructed in the manual. The app will take you through a registration process, and it will give you step by step instructions to add the proper camera model (P1) and then connect to your Wi-Fi network. You use the app to operate the camera using Wi-Fi, move the lens to different angles, change the motion and night vision settings, listen to the surroundings and use the microphone on your device to speak. I would recommends moving as far as possible from the camera while doing the tests to avoid hearing noisy feedback from your device's mic when it is too close to the camera speaker. Once you are comfortable with the location and operation of the camera, you have to decide whether or not you want to record any video.The camera has several options to record video:- Using your mobile device's video recording: You have to manually activate the recording through the mobile device using the app; the video obtained from the camera will record to your mobile device. This is not the optimal option because it has to be activated manually, and it consumes significant storage space from your device.- Using a MicroSD card (not included): The camera has a MicroSD slot right below the lens. I would recommend placing a 64Gb or larger MicroSD storage card. With the MicroSD card inserted, you can record live video 24x7. When storage runs out, it will start overwriting on top of the oldest recordings on a continuous loop; no need to replace or add more storage.- Using Osaio's cloud storage - This is a paid option, and it offers some additional services to the customer depending on how much you pay.I purchased and added a MicroSD card to record video and audio. When I go out of town, I use my app with my mobile phone to watch my cat live and talk to him. I can also control the camera angle, zoom in and out and take quick snapshots or short videos from the app while I watch him. In addition, I can rewind to an earlier time to check on him at specific times, like when he's running to get his food at different times throughout the day. I can do this from anywhere at any time. Night vision works great as well. The camera detects light levels and sets the proper brightness automatically according to lighting.I highly recommend this camera. It has all the basic features you need to view and record; it is simple to set up and use and it is quite reliable. The capability of using it from anywhere (from home or any other city) using a mobile device is one of the most useful features in my opinion.

Nothing bad to say about this cheap little camera... Fairly easy to set up once you've downloaded the app. Picture quality good, night vision good, small enough to place anywhere and a bonus feature of being able to talk to your pet and listen to their reply... Of course it doesn't have to be just your pet as it could have a variety of uses. You can also share a link with somebody else so they too can have access to the camera. Very happy with purchase and thinking of buying another.

Great little camera and does exactly what it says for the money. Easy setup, great picture, sound quality etc. but the only disappointment is that you can only scroll it left/right and not up/downOther than that no problems what so ever.

Superb camera offering great visuals and extremely easy to set up. I bought this as well as an outdoor camera from the same company and both are working perfectly. This one offers motion tracking and panning functionality to track an object as it moves, great for keeping an eye of things such as pets, also you can pan remotely if required to look at something you chose. Highly recommended and available at a competitive price.

I saw this camera for a VERY reasonable price and immediately bought it. On reading some of the reviews I was worried about whether it would actually be any good. But I can truly say I am delighted with this purchase. It works well, was quick and easy to set up. The picture is clear and decent. The motion detection works well. The night vision is good - I can watch my dog from the comfort of my bed - see image attached!

Got this camera to see the cats whist I am away and it’s been amazing so far! I can watch live feed and hear them too! You can only pan left and right but not up or down but this does go 360 degrees! It also has a microphone which does work very well although in my situation I don’t need that function but I can tell you it’s great! I didn’t have an SD card so I signed up to the cloud which gave me access to previous footage that the motion detection picks up. Well worth the very small monthly fee! The subscription cost me £5.38/6€ and I can look back on history up to 30 days, there are cheaper options available. The app is easy to use and camera quality is very good and also zoom is great too! I definitely be buying another one to put upstairs! Amazing product!

We wanted a camera so we could leave our dog at home for a few hours knowing he was ok. After searching for one we decided to buy this one. The ease of installing the APP and using the camera was one of our reasons of purchasing. Being a technophobe we managed without problems.Now we have recommended to family with dogs who have also bought one.The camera and picture quality is really good giving a sharp video.Comes with a connection to mount it on the ceiling although I needed an extension cable bought of amazon for £5. That was because we wanted it located higher up.Don't let the low price fool you it is great quality.

This camera is great value for money and provides a way to keep an eye on your pet while you’re out. To e quality of video is alright (not the best, but good for the price) and you are able to move the lens left and right from your phone which is really handy. Things are a little delayed, but only by a second or so. Zoom is good and allows you to look a little closer.The set up was a bit of a nightmare as my WiFi settings needed to be changed, meaning I had to log on to the router connection and alter a few things as per the instructions on the app. Once this was sorted, I didn’t have to do it again and everything seems to work fine.A green light shows when in use so you know when someone is accessing the camera via the app. Seems secure from this perspective, although I am sure to turn the camera off at the wall when I am in the house.
