These valve caps are a really good idea. They’re decorative, robust and secure. A tool can be used to tighten them, which makes them hard to steal. In addition, they keep out dust and moisture, and maintain the integrity of the inflation valves. They’re also relatively inexpensive.

These will corrode and bind to your valve stem. Do not buy this item.The item may be well made and give a nice little detail lift to your wheels. But the aluminium will react with the brass valve stem, corrode and lock on. If you’re lucky you will be able to remove them carefully with tools. If not, then it will be a trip to a garage to have the valve stems removed and replaced.You do not want to find yourself in a situation where that you have low tyre pressure and then can’t inflate your tyres because the dust caps won’t come off.I made these mistakes so that you don’t have to. Please buy plastic dust caps.

Fun gizmo for car.Perfect for my needs

Look great, but after a few months you won't be able to get them off. I had to cut 2 of the 4 off my car. I had a slow puncture, and had to hacksaw the cap off. Checked the other 3, 2 came off one did not. Buy silver plastic ones if you don't want the plain black ones.
