This holster was purchased specifically to hold the battery powered pruners. Because they all are generally long, there isn’t a suitable aftermarket pouch sold in hardware stores. This seems to have been designed specifically to hold the long length battery powered pruners of all makers. I’ve been using it hard to see how well it holds up, and I’m satisfied with it’s quality. The holster holds the pruner snugly just like a holster for a gun. There is no sloppiness in fit, and so you can be relatively assured the expensive pruners will not fall out when you’re high up in a tree or high atop a ladder. Also, it has a smaller slot to fit a smaller hand pruner or small hand tool.

This Kebtek product appears to have the market for electric pruning shears holsters; however, while it does fit my makita-style electric shears, it is of extremely poor quality, and I can see it easily deteriorating after a few gardening seasons.

After pruning 750 grape vines over 10 days this holder is tread barren and requires you to close the blades every time you put it in the holster. To close blade requires holding trigger for approximately 30 seconds which is completely unreasonable if you want to get any pruning done. Who ever design this was definitely not working in a Vineyard. Extremely disappointed.
