My son wouldn’t wear a base layer before because they were too tight. This was just right. I ordered a size 12 a son is average height but a little slim.

Sadly, these were way too small. I bought a size 14 for my 10yo and it was way too small. The top just fit (roomy body and shortish sleeves), but the pants were too short and way too tight in the legs and ankles. Someone else had mentioned they were too tight in the ankles, but I thought I'd give them a go...it didn't work. FYI, my son is tall (5"2') and average to slender build.

Great fit. Warm and comfy. The only problem I have is that I can't get my son to take them off.
