I bought this to use with a back brace that was a little too tight. As soon as I opened the package I immediately regretted buying it. It's a tiny, flimsy little piece of elastic with some Velcro. It has no resistance in the stretch making it feel cheap. When I attached it to the back brace there was no tension at all, defeating the purpose of the back brace support.It's insane what they're charging for it. This by far was the worst and most disappointing purchase I ever received from Amazon.

I wear a size 26 so your standard ice pack strap is pretty much a joke. At first I thought about buying some velcro and elastic to make an extender myself, but the materials alone would have been more than this (not to mention I can barely sew) so I sprung for the premade option. It's a little wide for the strap on my ice pack (a Cryomax) but it still works great and is more comfortable than I was expecting.Honestly,, this is one of those super basic items that's I always find kind of silly to review so long as it serves its intended function, but that's exactly what it does. It extends the strap and it does it well. So five stars.

You can extend 9 inches EXACTLY. No more, no less. Hindsight is 20/20. I can see it now. But in reading the name of the product and the description, I anticipated it being fully velcro throughout, fuzzy one side, hook and loop the other so you can overlap as much or as little as you wanted to adjust UP TO 9 inches. In reality, only a 2 inch strip on one side is hook and loop, and a tiny 1/2 strip the fuzzy velcro on the other side. the ~7 inches in between is just non-velcro black fabric. This is extremely limiting in how versatile it is in being an extender.

I like my Spand-Ice Extender Strap. I used it to extend a large hook and loop ice pack. It reduced the tension on the strap by extending the pack's strap.The hook and loop material on the extender strap has marginal performance; it doesn't fully hold and bind to itself. It also doesn't fully bind to the ice pack's hook and loop material.The extender strap holds well enough to keep the ice pack properly positioned.

This was the perfect extender to my mama strut postpartum compression garment. Which I was unable to exchange because it is considered an undergarment. This gave me the extra few inches I needed for compression and the velcro holds wonderfully. It is very soft and comfortable.
