When I first saw how small the fan was I said oh boy this is not gonna work , not gonna cool my room . But my was I wrong this fan is way better than the glbig one I had . This one is way better it cools my room as it says it does. Love it .

I love this little fan. I wanted something quiet for my bedroom that I could move around if needed, as I've never liked fans blowing air on me while I sleep but I also hate turning up the whole house AC just so that my bedroom is comfortable.This, however, works beautifully for my needs. I put it in a window about 18 feet away from my bed and even at that distance (and the lowest speed) I can feel just the right amount of a light breeze to help me sleep (and pull in cooler air from outside)

Works surprisingly well. My office gets hot in the afternoon and the ac can't keep up. This gives me the extra comfort late in the day when the sun is beaming in my window.

Got the Black+Decker Mini fan to replace a twin fan I had for 30 years. I wanted quiet and small--got both in this mini fan. I like, also, the air flow this unit puts out without the noise of larger fans. The dial control on the front bottom right corner is a plus--I did not want buttons as mentioned in this products desscription. My two complaints are that this fan has a shimmy and vibrates a bit on a hard surface--also, the base is rather narrow making it a bit unstable. I kept it as it is quiet and moves air well--I use it on a padded surface, no vibration noticed. I would look at other options before buying this model again.

Great little window fan by B&D. I always trust this brand to last forever. Bought two - high speed is quiet and powerful to move air through my apt. Love it!

Well I can't tell you how much of a disappointment this fan is. The only positive thing about it is that it's pretty quiet- and you know why it's quiet?? Because it hardly puts out any air!!! You can fill up the tank with icy cold water, get the inside filter fully saturated in arctic waters too and it won't make the slightest difference. I can seriously not tell a difference in my bedroom when this thing is on or off. Actually I can tell it's on because I can hear it adding $'s to my electrical bill for what amounts to nothing more than a disappointment. If you want a fan that can generate a hot whisper- look no further. If you want an chilly blast- buy literally anything other than this ridiculous waste of money. Oh by the way I can even tell that the motor inside the fan is slowly dying. Pretty soon one of these days it'll probably stop working altogether. I actually got a better quality fan from tem.u for half the price- and by better I mean that the wonky fan that i bought on a sketchy Chinese app was way better than this fan. Yep. that should tell you all you need to know.

I am a true mid westerner. I sleep with a fan, and prefer something that drowns out the silence and crickets and coyotes! This fan is perfect, has an incredible hum, and blows like a true Michigan wind! Which is like, 35mph on a good day. I highly recommend this fan! It's small, smaller than my usual go to box fan, but this one can fit anywhere and doesn't overwhelm small spaces! It also tilts, so on a warm night it can aim exactly where you want it.I was unsure if I would like it, but it's turned out to be the best purchase. Also, very easy to clean!

This thing has been awesome. I place it in my window at night and pull the blinds down to the top of it and then pull the drapes over to the side of it so that people can’t see inside while it runs. It’s the perfect shape and size for the window. We run it at night before bed and it’s been great for cooling down our room before sleeping.
