What end goes to the controller male or female there's no arrows on pixel
Is there a spec sheet for the voltage tolerance of these strings? Is it 12V ± 0.5V?
What is the max current for a string @ 12V? Assuming white at maximum brightness.
The specifications say 0.3w/led - wth? it should be around 0.06w per pixel or 3w per string of 50. can somebody please clarify what the correct is?

Very well made - I am impressed so far

I am impressed so far.- The individual LEDs are very well sealed- the wire feels like fairly high quality silicone insulation that should last multiple years- I have powered up every string, and not a single dead LED.- Every 50 LED string has a JST plug installed on each end, along with separate + and - wires for injecting power at any point.- I have not measured the actual wire gauge, but I was able to light up seven strings in a row (350 LEDs total) WITHOUT injecting power anywhere except at the start of. the string, with no obvious loss of brightness or color changes. Running this many LEDs without additional power injection is definitely not recommended, but the fact I was able to do so indicates they did not excessively cheap out on too-thin power or data lines. My only criticism is that the extra power injection wires they have provided on each end of every string are not protected in any way - the insulation has been stripped and tinned, and the conductors are just hanging out there. I very much appreciate that they went to the effort of providing these, but I would recommend either leaving the insulation on the ends, or wrapping the stripped ends in some insulating tape, etc. It would be pretty easy to end up with a short circuit that could damage the lights and/or whatever controller you are using - remember to add good overcurrent protection to your setup!Yes, these are expensive. But so is buying new 'cheap' holiday lights every other year because poor quality wires break, or some moisture gets into the 'waterproof' controller box and ruins it. You know the drill - you take the lights down carefully and put them away, and yet somehow they magically don't work when you pull them out the next year.Only time will tell if the 'well-built' first impression translates to an adequately long life, but at this point I will likely be buying more of these.

Takes a little more wiring than expected but great for Christmas Trees.

The media could not be loaded. I got these for our Christmas tree and my wife loves them!If you are going to run multiple strands, you will need to add in power to each string. This will require a bit of wiring and additional parts. I had to get male connectors and an appropriately sized power supply to give enough power. Even then, I can not run the lights at full power (nor would I want to as they are ridiculously bright for a Christmas tree at full power). There are a couple of different controllers that will work with these (just search WS2811 controllers and be mindful of voltage specs). I have them both, the one with red led numbers and the smaller heat-shrinked one that has a small remote. I personally like the smaller cheaper one better but try both (they are cheap). I would love to do an Arduino controller and map out the tree, One could do some really amazing stuff with that.Everyone loves the lights but they are not plug-and-play so be prepared and do your homework.PS. We strung the tree randomly and it looks nice but if you are a little obsessive you can string the tree in such a way that the lights seem to go around and up the tree. It would also be interesting to make all the strings go from bottom to top with each string covering its own section. The point is that how you string the tree can affect the effect.

Working as described!

Hooked these up the same day I got them. Partially cause I enjoy these type of LED’s and just the check to make sure they all work. Happy to say they all work! I’ll be using some of the 500 for outdoor Christmas lights at least semi permanent installation. I’ll have to waterproof the connections between 50 count strands but that should be easy enough. So far so good, I didn’t have to add some resistors to the data line on each (strand) I’m so far planning on to get all the correct lights on otherwise there was some data corruption. So far very happy with these!

Much cheaper options out there

Meh. They're OK. Not waterproof.Edit- bulbs are waterproof but the connections are not as far a i can tell. You have to set wled from rgb to I think gbr to get the colors to show correctly. Seller did message me to see if they could fix anything so the company cares. I'd probably buy again if the price was cut in half. Then I'd replace the connections with x- connect pigtails so that's another expense.Over all not terribly bad. I'm gifting these ones to my father. I'll put it up to 4 stars.

I can't say enough good things about this product

My first LED string project. An outdoor Xmas lighting lighting project.9 strings of 80 LEDs connected to a Raspberry Pi controller. Each string has a 10'-25' cable from the LEDs to the controller. Despite this distance and the data signal is only 5v, I experienced NO issues with voltage drop, data loss or signal noise. Each bulb is fully encapsulated in plastic so it's totally immune to the outdoor winter elements of Pennsylvania. I was able to splice (solder) pieces of strings together to get my 80 LEDs per string. Have made multiple purchases of these LEDs.
