ProrasoEau De Cologne, Cypress and Vetyver, 3.4 Fl Oz

I've tried my fair share of colognes, and Proraso Eau De Cologne in Cypress and Vetyver has quickly become one of my favorites. The scent strikes a perfect balance between the fresh, crisp notes of cypress and the earthy undertones of vetyver, making it both invigorating and sophisticated. It's not overpowering but lasts throughout the day, keeping me smelling fresh and confident. Just got this in the mail today (cypress and vetiver) and I like it! It has a clean woody smell. When I say clean, I mean not smoky. It has a hint of vetiver but mostly is a woody scent. I would say it is definitely a casual cologne but suitable for a night out or during the day. If you've ever tried Lalique Noir, it smells VERY similar to that. Which isn't a bad thing. They're actually around the same price. The scent is kind of one-note. What you spray is what it smells like the whole time. I'd say it has a moderate amount of projection but you could probably over spray it and it would be too much.

I really like this scent. Perfect for refreshing yourself or right when you get out of the shower. It's a cologne so it doesn't last the longest but it's a good daily scent and refresher scent. Large spray container, not really worried about wasting any. I spray very generously. Lots of compliments. Will continue to buy these for sure.

An involving, distinguished, and fresh take on cypress. Despite Proraso's Italian heritage, this fragrance brings to mind the wilds of Germany's Black Forest, including all of the dark connotations that name evokes. Thick with woods, but not cloyingly so. Unmistakably masculine, but without any of the garish pretenses that you currently find hitting you over the head elsewhere in modern men's perfumery.The only criticism I have is longevity is far from ideal. But, I have a solution for that: When you've noticed that the fragrance has dissipated, just spray on some more.

Bought this as a cologne and while I like the scent on its own (think Sunday Mass) I did not enjoy wearing it - too much of an ‘old man’ cologne for my tastes. I was going to chuck it until I found the perfect use for it as a bathroom air freshener. This stuff eats odor for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Spray it in the toilet bowl and voila! Got a smoker in your house? Adios smoke. I’m serious, you’ll be amazed!

Smells good but no more than 10 minutes.

The smell is great but it isn't very strong and doesn't last very long. Maybe it's not meant to be a really powerful cologne, not sure. After about half and hour to an hour the smell isn't very perceptible. As to what it smells like I would say woodsy and earthy. I love the smell but then I like things that smell like dirt.
