Holy (literally) cow! It actually worked! After watching every other house in town sell quickly while ours sat on the market for months (everyone said it was just too small) we were desperate. Someone suggested this to us and we thought- what do we have to lose?! Buried him in the front yard and said the prayer daily. Within 2 weeks we had an accepted offer finally! Was it the statue? Was it coincidence or pure luck? Who knows. But we dug up that statue and he now sits proudly on our window ledge in our new home.

Call me silly and superstitious but at this point I would not care if you did. We are building a new home and trying to time the sale of our existing home. A friend told me I needed to bury a St.Joseph statue in my yard for good luck in selling it quickly to buyers who would work with me on our timing, too. Skeptical but willing to give it a try, I buried this small statue the day before our home’s Open House and said the prayer that comes with it—what did I have to lose really? The house did not sell the first week, but after another week of additional showings, we have a contract and are waiting to close in a few days. We also have a backup contract in the event the sale falls through. Now I just ask that the sale does go through and pray that our buyers are well protected and have a safe, cross-country move. Say what you want, but I think it helped as just one more mind-over-matter way to present my home in its best possible light.

Things were looking glum. Then I bought this followed the directions and I sold my house in less than a week.

Since I was selling my home, a cousin recommended using St Joseph to help sell my house. I bought a ‘St Joseph sell your house kit’. Near the for sale sign in the front yard, I buried the statue upside down with him facing the house then prayed the accompanying novena prayer. The house got 2 offers and sold within the week of St Joseph’s “burial”, at a markedly higher price than our listing price! We closed escrow in 21 days. There were 3 other houses comparable to ours within our neighborhood that were on sale at same time as ours but never got offers. They were still in the market after 60 days of our closing, 2 of them even lowering their listing price. Thanks, St Joseph. As per the instructions in the kit, we went to dig him up and supposedly bring him to our new home but he disappeared. We dug within 1 foot around the burial site but he was gone. So we just prayed on the site and leave him be wherever he was! Was it just superstition? You decide.

My families have used before and they were successful

I buried the statue as directed the day before we put the house on the market - we had a "coming soon" sign up. We where very nervous because sales have slowed down due to rising interest rates. The day we put the sign up, the buyer happened to be in our neighborhood. He wanted to downsize and had been looking several months. The next day he and his wife came to see the house. The day after that, he offered us full price in cash. We closed this morning, just two weeks after putting the house on the market.

We are not superstitious or religious, but we really need someone to buy our house and we will turn down no advice on how to make that happen. That’s how we ended up here. We buried the saint in the yard near the house and said the prayer. I don’t know if anyone was listening (who could also help with the sale of our house), but it was worth a shot and a few bucks. We’ve had no luck yet, but hopefully it’ll come soon.

It was so much easier to purchase this statue at amazon and have it delivered rather than go into town and try to find one. The statue is very lifelike and done well, intricately molded and not too big. I have buried it and am waiting for miracles which I'm sure will arrive.Comes with a prayer card and some instructions but it's better to go online and do a search for instructions.
