USA PanBakeable Nonstick, Jelly Roll Cooling Rack, Stainless Steel

I bought this specifically because I thought it was made in the USA. I should have read the fine print on the description: despite the "nonstick Americoat coating" description, this does not mean that Americoat was applied in America. "Easy clean up; wash with hot water, mild soap and gentle sponge" is not a suggestion for baked-on food. They mean "not dishwasher safe," as the small print on the package itself says. "Made from globally sourced commercial grade and heavy gauge aluminized steel" means made in China (again, small print on the package itself). "USA Pan is a Bundy family company which has proudly manufactured high quality bakeware and provided jobs in the USA for over 50 years," means the family may reside and do business in the USA, but they get these baking racks from China. $14.95 for a baking rack made in the USA is worth it. $14.95 for a baking rack manufactured in China and sold in the USA as a USA-family product is not okay. Very misleading.

Product description misleading. I know other countries produce quality items, but feel the description should not say made in USA if made in China. I can't speak to durability or quality yet. Haven't used it. But I did wash it, and I expect the small grids will be a chore to clean after use. As described: it's not steel; it's aluminum so it has a bit of a grey/used tint from the beginning. Aluminum is prob better for oven use as it conducts heat more evenly than steel. That's the only reason I'm keeping it. I was disappointed when it arrived, but it will probably serve its purpose.

This rack is half the weight of the one that came with the original pan. I measured the wiring, and it’s also about half the diameter. Cheap, cheap, cheap!

I have a number of USA pan products I cherish and use weekly...this rack was not clearly indicated online to be Made in China but upon receiving it I read the label only to find that despite paying domestic manufacturing prices I received an imported Chinese made product. The product seems ok so far but I am disappointed with the intentionally unclear messaging and a feeling of "bait and switch".

We had need to replace our older sheet pan bought in 2012 and add another rack, but the older one is FAR SUPERIOR in quality.We need to bring back manufacturing to the US so we can produce quality products again!The new generations won’t understand cause they never have seen the difference! A vintage rack from EBay would be a better buy! Just saying!

This rack is made in CHINA, not the USA

Read the description carefully before buying this product. Although "Stainless" appears prominently in the product title, it is NOT stainless steel. As others have said, also not made in USA, even though USA is also prominently included in the product title. Seems intentionally misleading. Amazon shouldn't be a "buyer-beware" platform. Product dimensions are correct at 16.75 by 11.50 inches, and fits nicely in a half-sheet pan. Product is also quite light-weight, and I can't imagine it holding up to heavy usage. It is much lighter than other racks I have purchased.

So pleased with this! I bought this mainly so I could cook hamburgers in the oven. Never knew I could use this for so many things!! Super pleased. You just made my life easier (mom of 4 kiddos and working full time). Thanks!

Sturdy, good looking , excellent quality not just this rack but ALL the USA pan bakeware ...Expensive for sure but you dont get great stuff cheap...only drawback is you will get addicted to buying all USA pan bakeware if you are a passionate baker:)

Es un poco difícil de limpiar porque, pues, es una rejilla. Pero para lo que sirve ha resultado excelente.En nuestro caso lo único malo es que llegó medio chueca. Incluso con calor no ha podido aplanarse por completo.Pero en fin, no es tan problemático. La verdad es muy recomendable. :)

I read other reviews and just could not believe that a product from USA Pan could be that bad. I own a lot of their pans and love them. Believe it, this rack is That Bad. It is flimsy, the ends on the grid wires and support bars are not nicely finished - if you ran your hand along one of the sides quickly you would probably be cut. And the last straw - the cross brace pieces are not even welded on straight. As to the welds - they are clearly visible little blobs of metal where ever they are applied. This rack looks like something out of a dollar store. Look for something better.

I brushed with oil before cooking chicken drumsticks on this rack set over a baking sheet. Afterwards I filled sheet with soapy water and let sit while eating dinner. When I went back I only needed to use a scrub brush and it came clean very quickly and easily. Very happy with the quality of these racks.

A little too large to fit in the Nordic Ware Quarter sheet pans, despite what some reviews on the American Amazon site say. It still rests in the pan, but the feet don't touch the pan, which makes it difficult to keep straight when you place an item on it.
