Very comfortable, breathable, and good for holding my stuff. I put my keys and airpods case in the hidden pocket while I’m walking so it doesn’t move around. The phone does fine in my front pocket, but I’m not running - At least not far. I like the depth of the pockets, but that means they are just as long as the shorts themselves. They’re decent quality. I like having the compression underneath. Maybe they don’t fit as perfectly as my adidas shorts, but they’re a lot better at holding stuff.

My husband is in love with these. He typically wears basketball shorts and we ended up buying 3 pairs of these. Typically wears a 36 waist, we bought a large. Some colors seemed a bit more snug than others though, so you could probably size up.

Shorts are good overall. Only problem are the white ones. The white fabric on the outside is thin so the black underneath bleeds through. If you want solid white shorts look for something else.
