A 2007 Honda Fit (Sport trim) been in the family since new, with gas prices going up-up, the car is now the run about and back and forth to work car. This console is a perfect fit, it's not made to lift your self out or settle into place back into the car, you get what you pay for.Mine has worked well so far since install... I liked the idea that the company reached out to make certain I purchased the correct model and requested a picture of the factory cup holder area and soon after it was being shipped.I suppose if you're not careful you could break the hinge area, I have yet to have this problem and even so, at 40 bucks I probably will just buy another as it's that convent to have in such a small cab that has no place to rest your arm while shifting (5 Speed manual).I do wish that the slide out part could be locked in place, I don't really need it so I might mod this so that it doesn't.

First impression, I wish I had this when I first got the car 7 years ago. Seems sturdy enough.

It's a solid add-on. Has a nice storage compartment and a cupholder. Only downside is the plastic is rather weak and will break on the armrest portion. Sometimes will break into sharp pieces that poke through which isn't fun, meaning you'd need to cut the ends out. Would benefit from more padding and/or thicker support plastic to prevent this. Otherwise a good product.
