I bought these as last minute replacements. I did the Tour Du Mont Blanc with these.110 ish miles on varying terrain, elevation and weather in 8 days in June last year. They performed very well, better in fact than some of my companions much more expensive boots. They have recently failed with the sole starting to come away and I have binned them. I do not complain as they had taken a severe beating and for the price I believe I got my money’s worth.

Walking

Boots are not waterproof due to gap appearing between sole and upper.Noticed this am - 19/5/2024.Boots purchased 5th March and appear to be falling apart, will be seeking refund, in the meantime have to go to expense of ordering replacements or suffer wet feet.

I purchased these boots because it stated they were waterproof, I walked the dog once a day around 3-4 miles in wet conditions, my last pair of boots lasted a good 18 months but my feet kept getting wet. I was pleasantly suprised when I first tried these boots during wet conditions, my feet were wonderfully dry.After approx 5-6 weeks I noticed the surface of the boot started to flake off on the left boot (see image) this got worse and worse to the point they started looking worse than my 18 month old boots, I still wore them out walking because my feet were still dry after a walk however they got steadily worse,the sole of the boot at heal came away on the left boot, then the right boot the surface flaked off in the same manner it did on the left, now the right boot sole has come away completely, I've had these boots 4 months and they are in a right state. I'm actually very dissapointed paying for a pair of boots that cost me £40-50 which really lasted around 6 weeks before they started to fall apart, I walk in wet conditions like everyone does in the winter and I've never had a pair of boots that were waterproof on the inside however the wet absolutely wrecked them on the outside,Probably the worst walking boots I've ever purchased.The image I took in April which was 3 months in, realistically I should have returned them to amazon, Now I've got to buy another pair but I certainly would never buy this brand again.

These boots are only getting 3 stars based on their awesome soles. I have a particularly evil corn, yet I can walk for miles when wearing these boots.Your feet will stay dry when wearing them.These are the narrowest size 13s that I have ever bought, and I've had more than a few. And therein lies the problem. Whilst the material will stretch, making for a comfortable fit, less than 2 months since buying these boots, they have started to come apart at the seams and split on the sides.If you've a narrow foot, then you should have no problems; if you don't, it's probably not worth buying them.
