I recently ordered a TUL leather notebook with 7/8" discs. I knew I wanted to put more paper into the notebook as I had ordered separately some graph lined paper. I ordered this set of 1.5" discs to replace the smaller ones. That is one of the great plusses of the TUL disc bound notebooks. You can make them up to 3" thick by changing the discs. The discs are made of heavy plastic and can support the heft of a lot of paper. These black discs matched my notebook, but there are many choices of colors and even metal discs. I do prefer the TUL product. Highly recommend.

The 3/4" discs that came with my Martha Stewart disc bound notebook didn't provide enough space for more burgeoning notes. So I switched to this 1.5" product. I think it was too big of a jump. The discs stick out, making the notebook seems bigger and bulkier. But alas, it's my fault for keeping too many pages.
