MAGIC CAT Solar Animal Repellent, Wild Animal Predator Red Eyes LED Blinking Lights, Waterproof Nocturnal Animal Repeller to Keep Skunk, Deer, Coyote, Raccoon Away from Garden Yard Farm Chicken Coop

For about a 18 months now, the CAT has kept the deer away from the roses. I use 4 of the CAT's. Blinky red lights must look like predator eyes? They charge in the sun and run all night, even in winter. I live on Latitude 36° 36' North and get 259 sunny days per year. Your run time maybe different if you live further north or in an area that is mostly cloudy.

I was a bit sceptical about this product as we had tried so many other that just didn't work. But Magic Cat actually works! My chickens were roosting in a tree in their run instead of in their coop. They were not laying eggs as often as they had been - because, we believe, of nighttime predators. They felt safer in the tree than in the coop. However, now that we've been using the Magic Cat repellent, they sleep soundly in the coop once again and egg production is returning. I bought 4 Cats and placed one on each side of the run. I can see them from our house and it looks like there is a small fire burning as soon as the sun goes down. I placed them about 10" - 12" off the ground for rats, raccoons, weasels, etc. I've seen no tracks, no digging under my fence, and chicken loss has completely stopped. So THANK YOU, Magic Cat! Awesome product!!!Now that we've had these for almost a year, I would like to share that these Magic Cat repellents have gone through a very cold winter and several really bad thunder storms and wind storms. They have endured very well, continue to work properly, and we are extremely pleased with this product. So nice to buy something that actually works as advertised!!!

The media could not be loaded. Second day using this. No activity, but usual since the raccoons seem to show up only 1 to 2 times a week. First part of the video is where the raccoons look at the blinking light and just don't care. Second video you can see the light where the camera is on the step stool. These are small raccoons, so maybe my ducks deterred them from the chicken coop since the second camera is on the duck coop, or maybe they heard one of the foxes or coyotes. Maybe they just realized the run was more secure than last time and left. Who knows, but this gadget did nothing.

One of them didn’t work out of the box. Another one stopped working after about a month. Not sure if it’s actually keeping some of the critters away but I saw a cat and a skunk standing directly in front of it like it was a red strobe light at a night club. Maybe it works on some animals more than others

Works good on solar power, and most of the time a good deterrent. We have feral cats, and other critters want to keep away from our deck, in a humane way.

No skunks in yard.

My dog got nailed by a skunk that was trolling around our yard. NOT fun! So I put these around our 1-acre backyard and haven't seen it since.Also, I read that skunks do not like citrus, so 10 lbs of ground-up orange peels seem to have helped deter that nasty thing.

Saved my review for a few weeks after use. Now two months in, everything works as advertised. They stay on all night. Haven't had animals on my deck since I got them.
