These are nice to use so that you can use a SATA plug to connect to a MOLEX connector so you don't have to run a MOLEX wire to your PSU. They seem sturdy enough but the ketchup and mustard wires are kind of ugly. If you care about things like wire color for a build they might not be visible depending on location but you could always wrap them to de-ugly them if that kind of thing keeps you awake at night.Some water pumps use MOLEX so this could work there, in my case I had a case LED that was MOLEX and the end of the SATA lead was right there so it was really easy to use (and hide) this.

I had a Dell Precision 3450 Small Form Factor PC that I was going to use as part of a NAS. It doesn't have a standard ATX and only had a custom SATA power connector that comes from the motherboard via a dongle.To increase power needed to other drives, I use a Power Supply Adapter Switch Relay board that is powered by a MOLEX adapter. This SATA to MOLEX adapter works exactly as needed and makes my system work without a hitch so that when I turn on my PC, the other power supply kicks on at the same time.Recommended!

I needed a power connector for an older PciE card in a newer computer, and this bridged the gap between the old Molex plug on the card and the SATA-only power connectors on my power supply. The card has worked flawlessly with the adapter plug. The only issue is that the Molex plug pins are loose and wiggle in their sockets, so make sure the pins are all lined up correctly with the sockets on the plug before firmly pushing it into place.

These are really good connectors however I believe there is some QC /QA issues. First of all, the connectors have very rigid plastic couplings, they are pretty rough but at the end of the day, they're molex connectors you'll rarely touch.The biggest con with my batch is the red cable comes very loose in each connector, it's not the end of the world just need to be cautious when inserting anything.Overall I'd recommend buying another set for slightly more to avoid QC issues.

How would I know the difference in PC cable quality without test equipment and another cable manufacturer's product? Unless there is a noticeable distortion, most problems fall below human ability to detect it. Great price and it looks good.
