Absolutely love this mousepad. I switched to this from a cloth desk mat and the difference is huge. There is an adjustment period switching over from how slow cloth mats are, but once you get used to it it's miles better. Super easy to clean, and the size is just right. Good quality, stays very flat, and doesn't slip. I will never go back to a cloth mat.

will this make you a better gamer? yes. absolutely. just replacing your mouse pad, and bam, headshot after headshot. of course that was me getting shot, but hey. it felt smooth as my mouse glided to the play again in the lobby.i'll just let you know, it smells like heaven. yes. get real close. sniff it. that's heaven. or wait. maybe that's sweat? well, regardless, i like the smell of it.now, let's talk about design. it's flat. flat like the earth. it's also square. but there are rounded edges. yes. the edges perhaps are perfectly cut. they are almost too perfect. but the flatness sort of offsets that, so i won't take off a star. in fact, i'd give it six stars for flatness. just like the earth. though those aren't really stars. they are just holes in the firmament. shining. making you think they are stars.okay. so ease of use? flop it down. was it easy? you bet your mouse it was. just don't try to use it as a blanket. unless you are really really tiny. then it may be too large. and you might get lost. then it won't be so easy. cause you are lost. but regular size folks. they should find it easy. real easy.bottom line. i still am a terrible gamer, and now i don't have an excuse.

I never had a mousepad before but holy cow I'm actually a demonalso there is a reason this is an insanely popular mousepad, it is very good I recommend.

Good: Texture & material. Reminds me of the old fUnc sUrface mousepads which is exactly what I was looking for. The surface is not smooth, has some grippy to it for accurate tension on the mouse action.Bad: Needed to use an electric grinder tool to smooth out the edge where my wrist contacts the pads. The edges of the plastic are pretty sharp and it was leaving a mark on my wrist. Dremel and 10 minutes fixed the issue, nice and rounded and smooth now.

Having not used a mouse pad for years, I noticed that the tracking on my Microsoft Sculpt mouse was terrible. It would jump, not move, often disappear from both screens. And, the slick mylar ring on the bottom was prematurely wearing out. So, looked for a decent mouse pad. Not a gamer, so really, my priority was that it not stink. I've had many in the past that smelled like the Costco tire section and the sewage treatment plant got together and had a baby... Nasty.Reviews on this mouse pad were great on the lack of smell. So I made the plunge, bought my first new mouse pad in over 20 years. I had no idea that these things nowadays didn't have a single standard size. It arrived today, and I was pretty much blown away by the size. If I was in Hawaii, I could probably use this thing as a boogie board for body surfing. It's HUUUGE!! Almost a foot high, and over a foot wide...Running a 60% Clicky-clacky kybd, the kybd fits about halfway on the mouse pad, leaving me ample room for the mouse. It's really that big. It really is too big for my use. Again, I'm not a gamer, but a systems/cyber engineer, and this thing takes up far more desk real estate than I care for. I can return it for free, but... if I cannot find a smaller (normal) sized mouse pad by the same manufacturer, I may just trim this one down to normal size and run with it.So if you're looking for a new mouse pad, that DOESN"T STINK, and ARE a Gamer, then hey, go with this one. It does not smell.If you want one that doesn't stink, but are not a gamer, then, perhaps look for one from same manufacturer, but is normal sized.And do pay attention to the sizing details. Otherwise, I love it!
