I got the 2 -12inch extender monitors to attach to my laptop.Set-up:It was a little tricky at first, but not hard, to put the monitors onto the laptop.What worked best for me was, placing the monitors on the laptop while the laptop is slightly open, while standing above it, with it sitting flat on a surface. You pull the brackets "apart", think like a resistance band, then they snap back to hug the laptop.The hardest part of set-up was changing the display settings, and getting the monitors up and running through the proper connection and ports on my laptop. I thought I needed to buy an extra port adapter but I ended up figuring it out without it. I would buy a multi functioning port adapter to have just in case.Functionality:Pros:The 12 inch screens are big enough for my 14inch laptop. It gives me extra workspace as I work for a call center, and have to have multiple software open.The screens fold back flat, as long as you do it carefully.Being able to move your workstation out of the office and being able to sit on the porch outside. Major plus for me.The ability to simply fold the monitors down and leave it attached to the device, makes for an easier start, for next use.Cons:The monitors fold back onto each other, with no protection in between the screens (I will be buying a piece of silk or fleece cotton to place in between the screens so they don't scratch. )The bracket/stand stick should be extendable to adjust the angle. Its too short for my liking. But it is still usable.The monitors can go backwards, to fold, and also, to present the screens to others by pushing them backwards into the shape of a triangle, which is nice, however, I wish the monitors could , fold inward or towards the front at a deeper angleCords! would be amazing if the monitors could wirelessly connectCase: Would have been nice, for the price, if it came with a quality laptop bag that would be big enough and/or adding some screen protectors would be amazingUsing the monitors drains my laptop pretty quickly, be sure during extended use, to be connected to a power supplyQuality/weight: The quality of the screens is decent for office work, but if you are video gamer and want amazing graphics, then not so much. The screen brightness looks a little dim to me, even on the highest setting/.This device, has some weight on it, enough that I feel its sturdy and made from some quality items. Think like a heavy textbook. I am a former nursing student, our books were huge! and we had to walk all over campus.Its 2 monitors and a bracket, the engineers, if they offer an upgrade of a "slim" version, I bet it would have a hefty price tag, might as well add touchscreens too.I digress, they did a really good job on designing this and it could be even better with improvements and/or adding/upgrading the included accessory: a thin sack.Overall, I would buy this item again and will be recommending to my work friends.
