Reolink 4K Dual-Lens Home Security Camera with 180° Viewing Angle, Supports Person/Vehicle/Pet Detection, Color Night Vision, Two-Way Talk, Waterproof, Duo 2 PoE

This camera is very impressive. It gives a 180 degree view using the picture from two wide angle cameras very cleverly stitched together. In my case it covers the entire back of the house from one central position. There is some barrel distortion of the image towards the edges but nothing that impairs the overall utility of the view. Being 4k the picture stands a lot of blowing up and it is possible to study parts of the view in fair detail. The overall picture quality is excellent both by day and night. Night mode uses infra-red led rings and in my case happily illuminates out to 30m. There is also a white light set of led bulbs which can be turned on remotely using the Reolink app giving full colour illumination as and when needed. It is also possible to turn on an audible alarm which is quite loud and likely to scare off an intruder. My camera is attached to a Reolink NVR which I manually updated to the latest firmware version to avoid connection problems. As a result the camera installed without issues. I have not yet bothered recording sound. I have seven other 4k POE Reolink cameras. They are all well built and have never given any problems. The Reolink software is generally good and is frequently improved. The mobile app is particularly effective. All my cameras are Cat 5e POE except the doorbell camera which is WiFi since getting an ethernet cable to it is not possible. All in all this 180 degree camera is outstanding.

Good picture quality day and night with a great field of view, option for night colour is ok but limits distance over IR, sound quality is good unless using 2 way which is week with feedback noise. There is an option if you log in from a web browser to enable Onvif in the settings and I have managed to use 3rd party android apps to view the camera successfully.Motion is a bit meh but still adjusting the settings, like the first night streeks of rain captured in the night vision triggered motion.... we'll see if it can be adjusted yet

Great view both wide and vertically. Easy to add to my NVR. Make sure you have enough room to fit it in as it is much larger than the dome camera it replaced. I had to adjust how the bracket fitted under the soffit so there was room for the length of the body. Mic picks up sound at quite a distance. Overall happy with it so far.

the width and clarity of the picture is simply perfect, when angled down from most of the way up a 2 story house this camera captures the entire with of the view including the sky at both ends of the image and provides more coverage then the 2 RLC420 cameras I had in its place before

I added this via POE to an existing Reolink RLN8-410 NVR setup which I've had for about 2 years and no matter what I did it simply would not recognise the cameraI checked for updates etc on their site but it said all up to dateI then contacted Reolink by chat and got a really helpful guy called Bryan - somewhere in Asia - who spent nearly two hours on chat going through various settings with me until he eventually deduced that the NVR needed a manual firmware update to work with this camera....after doing this (download to USB stick on PC, insert stick into NVR and update via menu) it sprang into life and the image is utterly stunning both day and night.Full marks to Reolink yet again for their excellent customer support....minus one mark as, in reality the box should have done that itself

Where to start. I purchased this cam as car was getting broken into.Cam works well in the day.Motion detection is terrible, I live in a flat so it is busy outside. The Cam doesn't detect motion in the night in the corners and sometimes even in the close field of view.Reolink Support is the worst I have had to deal with, you wait 24 hours for each email they send you. They don't really help, they just send you Instructions. It felt like I knew more than their support, just off going on their website I found many settings to tweak that Reolink didn't even suggest.After having issues with the first cam a replacement was sent. Same issues missing Motion.When issue re occured with new cam and I advised Reolink, they offered me a 10% Refund and I could keep the Cam. Why would I keep a security Camera that misses motion at night, especially with how much the Cams are.

I was new to home security cameras, but this one was quite easy to set up and the customer service was excellent. Even several months after I bought it they answered my queries quickly and helpfully
