Not just WIFI, but a fast private internet connection for international travellers.
I think most people when at home would not log onto an unknown public WIFI link even if it was not passworded and seemed to be free, they'd be worried it was not secure. So why, when people go abroad on business or when they use a laptop for online banking etc, do they trust the internet connection in a hotel, railway station or a bar which can be easily compromised. The Numen Air 5G gives you not just private WIFI, but you're own directly connected personal internet link not passing through any potentially compromised internet server in a public place. Used together with an https enabled browser on your laptop and a good VPN it really is as secure as you could reasonably get.I have used the 4G PRO and been really impressed. I bought the Numen Air 5G because 5G is becoming a reality now and I wanted to take advantage of the extra speed. To use it effectively you need to know the length of your visit and a good estimate of your data needs. You just pick a package to suit from the app. It does take patience as there can be a lot of choice, but an abundance means you are more likely to find the right one for you.The Numen Air 5G is made of metal but I use a satnav type case to protect it as I do not want the touchscreen to get damaged while travelling. The battery life is good and the menus are intuitive and easy to use. It has good radio sensitivity and picks up a 5G signal even at the coverage limit and if 5G is not available it uses the fastest 4G signal. The performance of any 4G or 5G device is dependant on the tower hardware of the local provider but things are improving all the time. With a bit of planning I think you really could "remote work" anywhere there is a decent 4G or 5G signal in the world using this device. Finally, when you get home, you can plug in a data simcard and use it as a really fast router. What's not to like?

The best of the least expensive options.
Very well packaged, clear and easy to install app but don’t be fooled you do not need to sign up to a glocalme plan.I used a SIM card from EE, unlimited data and 5g for approx £25 a month, far cheaper than their subscriptions. Easy to set up but to avoid confusing the modem insert the SIM card after you’ve set the app or if gets a little confused. Off and running in less than ten mins, although changing the device name and password on the screen is fiddly when you have hands like shovels, only hold up for me, I use it a service provision for clients in my car, is the device will not accept a name with a space, which is the only teeny tiny negative I can see so far, on 5g download speeds of 80 mbps and uploads of 35mbps, 4g up to 25/5. You can easily spend twice as much for a competitor device but this works perfectly……

Premium feel, easy to use, 55Mbps on O2 5G SIM
I haven't used this for long so I've no idea about drop outs or battery life or longevity, but with so few reports of speeds, thought I'd share I'm getting 55Mbps down and 3-5Mbps upload on an O2 5G SIM.Really simple to use with the touch screen, can quickly change the name of the network and password and connection was trouble-free. First job is to go to 'Manage SIM' and switch over to the one you put in (assuming you're not looking to use the in-built service which I imagine is costly)

Great device.
Great device. Fast speeds. USB tethering for computers. Can use without SIM card, but plans are more expensive. Only drawback is that it is not possible to connect it to a router as a Wi-Fi extender, to cover a greater Wi-Fi area.
