MATLAB and Simulink In-Depth Paperback – 27 September 2022

I am a MATLAB user since last 3 years, but I struggled with some core concepts of Simulink and Stateflow. Got to know about this book from author's post on LinkedIn and found it relevant so I immediately purchased it. The Simulink section and debugging techniques have helped me clarify all of my doubts and I was even able to clear two technical interviews and get my dream job at a reputed organisation.

Got this book last week based on promising reviews ,as I have some interviews lined up for MBD. The online tutorials and courses were not helping either. Now I am going through the key points and reading the topics where I find myself lacking. Will update next week after the interviews.

The book covers all the concepts necessary to start Simulink Model Based Development with detailed explanation with the help of large number of images and very simple language. Despite being a Matlab user for a while now, I found a lot of new information in it. That makes it useful for a beginner as well as practitioner.

This book covers all the essential concepts that are important for novice readers to learn MATLAB model-based design. No other book has explained the user interface with such details. Stateflow section is also interesting given limited material available in the market. Simulink and Stateflow examples are easy to follow. I totally recommend this book.

This book covers only basic aspects of matlab simulink, most of which is already available on mathworks website. Writers could have included modelling processes, some common simulink models, stateflow charts, state machines, code generation etc. Mathworks website is way better than this book. Don't know how this book got so many positive reviews.

The in depth knowledge of this book on topics such as scripting, visualtion , simulation and debugging is very helpful and explained in an easy language.

Good book for beginners who want to learn and grow in career in model based design . Best part is it has state flow also covered which is not found in other book which I had purchased .

I purchased it a month back and started practicing the examples along with the trial license of MATLAB. Was able to finish it in a month, and now I feel I can use the tool as a professional.
