Nba 2K18 Standard Edition - PlayStation 4

I've been buying these for years. I usually wait a year to buy the next one (skip buying them every other year) because not a lot changes. That's still true here but it's a great game. I like the graphics update, new looks, change in controls a little, and feel of the players movements. I don't usually play online or MyPlayer - but I love season modes and doing fantasy drafts. This version allows you to add 6 teams to the over 30 in the NBA which is awesome since I play this mode all the time. You now have every team's All Time teams, where they give you the best players ratings at the best age of their career - it's an awesome addition. They also tossed in a few more Historic Teams from 2000 to 2010 or so, which is always cool. They're still missing a few players like Rasheed Wallace and Barkley, which is just weird.

This game is defitnetly a significant step forward in the graphics and game play mechanics department. I was surprised how much more I like this game over the previous year installation (which I also loved). The face and bodies of the players are more realistic than ever.I almost avoided this game due to all the glitches it had when it 1st came out. I am very glad that I purchased it. I highly recommend this game.

Kyrie Boston Celtics cover alone gets is amazing and the only reason it gets a 3 star other then that the game is mediocre I hate that my career is only an on-line thing it needs to be changed for 19 I been buying since 2k9 this is the worst one since and 2k16 was the best and they jus haven't beat it hope 19 is different! If u collect like me it's not a bad price

Great graphics. Updated over last years game and doesn't have the server issues that plague the Xbox one. I only play offline My League, so I can't not comment on all the micro transactions cause I don't and refuse to buy them. For what I wanted it for, awesome.

At 13 bucks i had to give 2k another try since 2k15 and even though ive read it has all these bad reviews due to microtransactions, that the game makes it harder for you to build up xp etc. For me im just interested in playing offline matchups, im really enjoying the all time nba teams. For those reasons, i find no problems with the game since i wasn't interested in the online part.

Dont get this game. Microtransaction disaster. Ive been playing 2k since 2k9. I gotta say, this is the worst one by far in terms of career mode.Whats really baffling is how they took features away? What kind of game does that from previous iterations?Examples include:- Cant even set your skin color in this game. Yes. Create a player doesn’t include a skin color slider anymore. Despite graphics being very, very similar to last years version. What the hell 2k?- Haircuts? Better pay some VC to the annoying barber shop that 2k added only for product placement cutscenes that are not skippable.- cant skip corny cutscenes. The story just seems to be getting worse.- Layups now have a slider. You cant see this slider in game. This is terrible because youll have an 90 overall player missing wide open layups.
