Indoor pizza oven PYY
Today I received this pizza oven which I have not used yet, but I have inspected it very well and below I am going to describe what I have seen in it.Firstly, I have to tell you that its construction is solid, in my very personal opinion, it is very well made, but I also have to say that the paint it has emits a not very pleasant smell when you turn it on, that is, as your pamphlet indicates, before using it.You have to turn it on for at least half an hour to supposedly eliminate that unpleasant smell.I think the only thing I did was clean it and turn it on as the instructions say to see if it really worked well and yes, I have seen that it works well for the moment, we will see when I start using it what results it gives.I also have to say that the instructions should be a little better quality not just a simple written piece of paper as is usually the case with a product that comes fromChina or Korea, since everything you consume comes from those countries, and as I said, some products are good and others not so much.Amazon sells this particular oven, and days before I called to ask if the refractory stone is defective, or perhaps cracked by the excessive heat needed to cook pizzas, if they would replace it.The answer I got from them was that if this happens, the entire oven should be returned, since they do not have any parts of it, for a refund of the money or a replacement, this within a period of 30 days, after This period of time, well you run out of stone or you will know someone where you can get one of the same dimensions, since not all of the ones that exist on the market are the same, and this is a problem. So there is no other alternative than to figure out how to use it with something similar to stone or to see how to adapt something to continue using it.Since, as I mentioned, after 30 days you will not be able to return it.In short, the oven is well made, taking the necessary care so that it does not get damaged, so it can be used very well, otherwise if you do not take care of it then it would not last, like any other product. But hey, the product is well made, it is quite sturdy and I think it raises the temperature that the pamphlet expresses. Now we would have to see if it works correctly or not.I will modify my review if I notice otherwise. For the moment everything is perfectly fine. You also have to have it located somewhere that has ventilation due to the high temperatures it raises when cooking. So to finish this review I tell you that if you need to buy one of these ovens consider this one, in my opinion it is a oven that is very well built.I recommend it.I'm going to update the previous review.Well, today I used this little oven, which I keep insisting is very practical and quite well built. What I have noticed is that it takes more than 1/2 hour to reach a desired temperature for a Neapolitan pizza, which must be cooked at more than 300 degrees Celsius, but well today I tried it and everything was fine. My only mistake was that I put the pizza on the stone which was incandescent I think, because it burned on the bottom...I will have to play a little with the temperatures until I see which is the most correct for this type of pizza, or I would say any other that does not require as much temperature as the previously mentioned. But hey, everything is fine, it's just knowing what temperature to use both in the element above and the one below the refractory stone. But well, this can happen to anyone who has not set the correct temperature since they should not burn but well, we will have to adjust the temperature as mentioned and see what happens.Everything is responding well. This is an update of what I found in the oven upon its first use.

Absolutely LOVE It!
We bought the PYY after buying our house and deciding we didn't want a stove. The prices of them were so ridiculous that it didn't seem worth it, given it's just me, my husband and our one child. After looking at different options, we decided to pick this one. I read the product description, the reviews, and believed this one looked durable enough to last a long time, heavy duty enough to be more versatile and it was in the price point we liked.I'm so glad we have this thing!First, it's Heavy! I had a hard time lifting it's box up and into the house and waited for my husband to come home to put it on the counter. We've had the PYY for a few months now, so I feel my review here is gonna be really honest.GET IT.This thing is amazing! Yes, it's a learning curve from going to a normal oven to this but it isn't hard! It cooks wonderfully! I've lost track of what I've been able to cook in this thing-not just pizza, I've done bread, biscuits, cookies, a cake, lasagna, chicken alfredo, casseroles-seriously I can't even remember what all I've made in this thing. It is amazing!I don't know why anyone would think it's a fire hazard, because we have it sitting on our houses 80s countertop, which as you can see, is definitely ready to be redone (coming soon, basics first) and weve had no problems with it at all. It's easy to clean and maintain, and of course a cooking stone is different than cleaning a regular pan, but I've had no problems taking it out to do that when it's needed. If I'm making something that I know may be extra messy (like my casserole) I usually put down some aluminum foil to keep it from spilling all over the stone and that helps too.100% recommend and would buy it again!

Gets hot fast.
I love this thing. Since covid, pizza delivery (here in a large apartment building) means leaving your apartment and going outside to get your pie because the drivers won't bring it to your door anymore. Might as well drive and get it myself since I have to get dressed anyway. So I've decided to learn how to make an apizza (ah beets' here in New Haven, Ct. Land of the world's greatest pizza) as close to the real thing as possible. I prefer thin crust but it looks like this oven doesn't get hot enough for thin crust and is more suited to neapolitan pies. This gets up to 660 degrees and pies get that beautiful blackening on the bottom. I probably don't have the right size either since thin crust pies are best in a large diameter. This oven gives you 15.5" so enough for a medium if you have good prowess with a regular peel because there is NO sliding peel available on Amazon (although many of them are advertised) wider than 12 inches. NONE! I bought three on false pretenses so be warned. I'm sure there's a way to make a real thin crust pie in this and I'm going to find it. Meantime, this is a wonderful pizza oven nonetheless. I keep the stone in my stove oven so it's closer to where I put the pizza oven, but it comes in handy when making pizza in your stove oven (there are ways) and it makes moving the pizza oven a lot easier. This is a great oven for a single or couple. Very basic and very simple. And very nice price.
