Our Planet: The One Place We All Call Home Paperback – 2 Feb. 2023

I bought this book to show my Year Six class as part of our work on Antarctica. They absolutely loved the layout and use of illustrations and photography. The test is informative and well-written. This would make a wonderful gift as it is a large book with wow-factor.

I bought this book for my friend's son for Christmas 2020, and I think that he will just love it! :) Beautifully presented, written and illustrated, and with a foreword by Sir David Attenborough. Even though I have not yet seen the Netflix / WWF TV Documentary that accompanies this lovely book, I really do feel that it is great in its own right. Young children will just love reading about the Natural World and about how to protect it for the future. For we only have one home, and one Planet Earth! :)

Happy with the book

I bought this for an 8 year old for Christmas and couldn't help having a good look through before I wrapped it up.It's a gorgeous book with just the right balance of gorgeous photos and interesting facts.If you have a child who will read a book out of interest then they will look at this and learn things without realising that is what they doing - always a joy!!

The book is delightful! The pictures will engage young children (I’d say 4 upward) and the dialog is written in such a way that children can understand and not get bored with long scripts , the script on the pictured pages are explanatory and easily read ..age 6 upward..wonderful gift girls or boys , a book that has a message about world conservation to be just browsed through or read, it will delight a child.

Maybe i have high expectations, but the book seemed not to quite achieve the standards others gave it. Its really not bad, but I felt the images were not all to a standard one might expect for a book of this type, and a fair portion of the book are stylistic illustrations - nicely done but felt a bit like padding. nice padding but still - you might want to check out other options unless you explicitly want the series book.The ultimate judge was my kids, who lost interest fairly quickly despite my best efforts. they have other natural history books that remain the favourites

This is a lovely book for any animal fan with outstanding photos and great info that's not overbearing/boring.My 10 year old is animal mad and a HUGE David Attenborough fan so I bought this as a gift and I know he'll absolutely love it?
