Gorgeously Packaged Childhood Dream!
I loved the Power Rangers as a kid but though I was right there for Rita's emergence from the space dumpster, and collected most of the toys, including a lot of the fantastic combiner megazords from the MMPR era there was a glaring omission in my childhood collection: the original, iconic (somewhat awkwardly post titled) dino megazord! Hearing about the Zord Ascension Project and being fortunate enough to have a bit of spare cash kicking around I finally pursued this dream of mine! Now I'm not a "proper" toy collector so my views on quality hey might not be for the serious afficionado. With that caveat laid down, I feel like Hasbro have really made an experience rather than just a toy or collectible. The presentation of the box itself is gorgeous. It got a thrum of excitement going for me and my seven year old who was along for the ride. We loved the discovery of unwrapping each zord, and discovering - certainly for me remembering the old school bricks these conbiners tended to be - how much articulation the designers managed to squeeze out of the individual zords. This of course feeds up into the megazord battle mode itself which, thanks to some decent ratchet joints can hold some great poses! The points of transformation are show accurate for maximum nostalgia and, a nice little point I realised, everything here is pure shaped plastic and finish, no fiddling with stickers. Instructions to tank mode and battle mode are clear, perhaps a touch small if I want to be really nit-picky but it isn't something that bothered me. There are some fun easter eggs like each zord having a cockpit with a teeny little ranger pilot sculpted inside making this a joy to play with and explore, and the set includes some scale accurate rangers - these might annoy some as they are just tiny single colour figures although again not enough to knock off a star for me as I'm a figure painter too so I'll relish trying to add a bit of colour to them myself. But I make the note here as I respect not all potential purchasers will be into figure painting! In all I think this is a great way to burn some spare cash for a fan like me! So much fun, I already have my eyes on the Dragonzord and hope I haven't missed it: if Hasbro turn their ZAP design team lose on the original Zeo megazord too I could be in trouble...

Amazing Megazord with a decent price
the quality is superb at this price point. Strong and tight joints, great details, decent overall size, even just the packing is fabulous. Brilliant item nostalgia.

Seen bad reviews... However..
As I kid I always wanted this and the dragonzord but my family wasn't wealthy enough to get, happy with the model. The joints for the tyranasaurus is really tough by it's knee, but once you move the joints they become easier.Great look, big megazord.

Phenomenal, but watch out for quality control & build quality
This thing is absolutely stunning to look at. I think it looks even better than the Soul of Chogokin Megazord in many ways. The Dinozords themselves look incredible too. Almost all of the 'design liberties' they took with it are for the better, in my opinion. Visually, the only thing I would change is that the colours are a little more muted than I'd like them to be, for a franchise famously about bright colour coded toys. One caveat though, and it's a biggie. Build quality is very mid. Look, we're adults, I assume you are if you are reading this, what with the 15+ in the corner of the box and all (Though I don't see any parts that might break off and choke a 14 year old...), we're probably not going to be "playing" with this thing so much as posing and transforming it for display, but the noises some of the joints make in this thing are unnerving. Unlike the ratchets on the old Megazords, this one sounds and feels like parts are breaking every time you move the legs. It's also very light and hollow feeling, which is useful, the Dragonzord isn't going to make it keel over for one thing, but that combined with the cracking joints does make you feel like you bought it from the pound shop rather than on Amazon for £150. It's really not a deal breaker for me, but it's enough to remove one star. One other thing worth saying - This is actually my second one of these. My first one arrived with a "floppy" left hand, meaning it couldn't hold the Mastodon shield properly without it drooping down, and with some of the pegs weakened, one peg even broke the second time I transformed it, so I returned it. The second one was much better, but I've heard of people going through 3 or 4 of these before they got one without any issues.

Looks great on display
Bought this as wanted a original from to 90s, watched numerous reviews before buying, never held one before buying this, it does feel cheap but looks great on display, if I hadn't watched reviews about it feeling cheap and lightweight then I wouldn't have known any difference. It's a toy for adults at the end of the day, anything is breakable if you snap it in half, from one at double the price to the original. If you like models and want to display it for nostalgic reasons, buy it, like in did 👍

Megazord Hasbro first attempt for collectors
I was overall surprised that I liked the megazord as a whole.I did need to buy 2 as my first one arrived damaged. The plastic free packaging doesn't help.I do not like the choices and changes they made to the megazord to probably make it look more interesting but I'd sooner have a more screen accurate version than this.I do feel it is overpriced for what you get and I hate the scale with dragonzord. I would much prefer all the megazords be the same size like they appear on screen as megazord towers above dragonzord. But I think that is more of preference choice, I display mine in megazord mode and have need to build a stand for dragonzord to be in a similar height range. This megazord does have quite a lot of articulation but some joints may be stiff and can be a worry to "force" the joint in case of breaking. The box for the megazord is fantastic and is strong card, it makes the item feel premium until you get the toy out and the reality is box takes up quite a lot of the weight.Overall, it's ok, needed 2 to get one that wasn't damaged.
