Excellent price for a feature packed motherboard that will meet the needs of most
This board is a level above any I've bought before for previous builds. I'd usually go for low/mid tier boards as the higher priced ones offered little in extra features, however this board is the exception. It's packed with features and super high quality components. Functionally it does everything right and without a load of faffing about. The BIOS UX is great and easy to navigate for setup and fine tuning of components. For once this is really worth doing for the Ryzen 9 series CPU's as they are very flexible on clock and voltage. It was as simple to fit as any other board. A big benefit for me was the large number of ARGB ports which allowed me to do without the port hub I needed in my previous B550 build. I also appreciated the PCI slot latch mechanism that I think is unique to these boards, and the 4 NVME drive ports come with integrated cooling plates and thermal pads for the contact points which is an excellent additional feature.Connectivity is excellent and a cut above other boards in this price range. Boot speed is a little slow at post, but the setup flies once booted and hasn't had any hiccups or crashes since built a few weeks back now.

Exceptional Value and Future-Proofed Performance!
I've been using the MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both value and future-proofing. Here's why I’d highly recommend it:Pros:Solid Build Quality – This board feels sturdy, with high-quality components that inspire confidence. MSI clearly didn’t skimp on durability.Excellent Connectivity – The WiFi integration is reliable, fast, and easily meets the needs of modern connectivity standards. Paired with multiple USB ports and a well-thought-out layout, it makes connecting peripherals a breeze.Future-Proof Design – The X870 chipset provides ample headroom for future upgrades. It's equipped to handle current-gen and future CPUs, so I don’t need to worry about upgrading my motherboard anytime soon.User-Friendly BIOS – MSI’s BIOS is intuitive, making adjustments and optimizations accessible for beginners while still offering depth for seasoned users.Great Value for Money – For all the features packed in, it’s one of the most affordable high-performance boards out there. You get top-tier performance without breaking the bank.Cons:Limited RGB Customization – While it does have RGB, the options are relatively basic. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you’re big on customization. - I am not so fine here.In short, if you're looking for a reliable, high-performance motherboard that’s built to last, the MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI is a fantastic choice.

A Feature-Rich, Easy-to-Use Motherboard with Great Aesthetics
This is a fantastic motherboard with excellent aesthetics and a solid set of features. I paired it with a 9800X3D and an RTX 3080, and the whole setup has been running flawlessly so far.Installing M.2 SSDs was a breeze thanks to the EZ DIY feature—no screws or hassle, which made the process super convenient. Installing the GPU was equally easy, and I really appreciate the EZ Release button positioned to the right of the motherboard. It securely locks the GPU in place and makes removal far less stressful. The inclusion of two LAN ports is a big plus for me, as it allows a direct connection to my NAS while still maintaining my internet connection through the second port. There are plenty of USB ports on the rear I/O, which is great if you use a number of devices. I’ve had no trouble connecting everything I need without juggling cables or using hubs. The BIOS interface has been completely overhauled compared to my previous MSI board, and it's much more intuitive now. Overclocking the RAM using the EXPO profile was straightforward—literally just one click and done. One important tip: don’t forget to update the BIOS once everything is set up. MSI provides all the drivers and updates directly on their website, which made setup even smoother.Overall, I’m really impressed. The build quality, features, and ease of use make this a great choice for any AM5 build. No issues encountered so far—highly recommended.

2nd Build over the last couple of years using an MSI motherboard, would definitely recommend.
2nd Build over the last couple of years using an MSI motherboard, would definitely recommend.Excellent motherboard, due to high quality board / VRM design and extensive features (PCI 5, NMVE slots and number of USB connections). MSI Bios has functionality and design has greatly improve over the last year; together with including Bios Flashback and Debug LCD.FYI: Definitely check Heatsink / AOI compatibility due to potential RAM and NVME heatsink layout.

A solid X870E motherboard with good features at a decent price
This is definitely one of the better X870E motherboards both in terms of price, aesthetics and feature set.Pros:The build quality is solid, with tasteful RGB (which can be disabled if you prefer) and a design that isn't over the top "gamer" like some motherboards. The main reason I purchased it was the connectivity. The rear panel alone has 13 high-speed USB ports (9 USB A, 4 USB C) which makes it a good option for anyone like myself who requires significant I/O. I use a VR headset, external drives and multiple other peripherals so this was a must. The WiFi 7 and Bluetooth connectivity is also good, but I primarily use LAN (the board has both 5G and 2.5G LAN ports). On top of this, the clear CMOS and BIOS flash buttons are good features to have, and the debug LED reads CPU temperature when the system has booted - which I quite like. The BIOS has been updated compared to older MSI boards and is a lot nicer to use. The tool-less M2 drive installation and integrated heat sinks are nice, and it also comes with a USB stick that contains software drivers for the motherboard.Cons:My only real complaint is that the PCIE slot lock/unlock button is a bit temperamental on my board, however coming from a motherboard that didn't have this, I can overlook needing to press it twice some of the time.TLDR:Overall I'd definitely recommend
