I got this on a flash sale, so the price was exceptional, and it’s comparable in quality to one that I paid more for. The longest part of the skirt does not raise up, just the upper ruffles as the images show. I would recommend a crinoline slip for added fullness. I once wore a hoop slip with a similar skirt to a Halloween party, and had trouble navigating doorways and crowds. A crinoline slip “scrunches” down through doorways & crowds. The fabric is nice, and true to image color.

Really like this skirt! As someone who’s plus sized and super finicky about how clothes feel and fit, it can be difficult to find good alt fashion pieces. Skirt is comfortable and has an elastic waistband. Item is true to the photo and looks very cute. Excited to wear it out!

This arrived on time as a two day ship and in perfect condition. The skirt is well made with decent material as well. The gathers in the front are functional and you are able to alter their height. The waist is elasticized and generous per sizing which is quite rare. These items are usually so much smaller. I will be able to use it without making any alterations which saves me a lot of time. My event is 4 days out so that was important. Don't hesitate, you will not regret this purchase. I am not paid or anything for this review. I am just a real human female in Nebraska where this type of clothing is only available online.

Item is what I expected and able to wear it an old time Texas shindig

I got this as a top layer (i got some petticoats separately for underneath) and it looks a little flat as in I think it could use a few more tiers (needing more body) but as a quickie/cheapie thing to put on if you're not heavily into period costuming, this skirt does the trick. I like the drawstrings to gather the hem up on the two sides, nice touch! I steam mine instead of iron and it does well with being sat on and packed away too. Overall a solid quality item for the price!

As a curvy woman, it's hard to find clothes that make me happy. I love this skirt. I am wearing it for a Charles Dickens festival but hope to find other reasons to wear it.

Love the way the skirt looks. But the sizing is way off. Mine is way too big. Huge on me!It looks great. Luckily I am wearing a corset that is tight enough to hold the skirt up at my chest.
