Fantastic
Fantastic crayons in Pastel, they blend very easily, and despite having read about difficulties sharpening them I have to say they are very easy to get really good points just using a decent pencil sharpener. You can also use a wet brush on them to blend or remove thick lines if you have been a little overzealous in using them.

Love these pastels ,so easy to use and blend with good depth of colours.Truly artist quality which are also useful to use with water color painting for highlighting and enhancing your pictures.

Great buy
Beautiful as always. Didn’t expect anything less from faber castell. I already use a couple of their products and the quality level is up there. Fantastic purchase. Can’t wait to get started. Wondering what’s different between these and other brands? If you haven’t watched reviews online, the main difference is the core strength. These pencils are the hardest pastel pencils in the market today. They don’t break the way others do but still have smooth looks.

Another Faber-Castell winner
I bought these to compliment my other Faber Castell ranges of pencils and I have to say that like all of the Faber Castell I have tried they are very nice, the colours in the pastel range are lovely and they are very easy to use. That said I keep reading that they were designed to provide Pastel pencils that require little or no fixing and yet I will be fixing mine as I really cannot tell that they are any different in that aspect to the various other pastels I have tried in the past, however I am still quite a novice with pastels so it might be something that I am doing rather than the pencils so I will have to see how that spans out as I gain more experience.

Good quality pastel with stable core
I purchased these pastel pencils to replace those that are used more often from the larger pastel set I own. I find the Faber-Castell PITT pastel pencils to be one of the better pastel pencils having a colour consistency and for whatever reason the "lead" seems to be less prone to breakages than other makes and is perfect for adding detail to a pastel painting.

Nice colours but a bit scratchy
Not as soft as I would have liked. Better on pastel paper than velour or pastelmat.

Excellent
Good quality, good dense pigmentation and good colours. There are better products on the market for the professional artist but you’ll pay a lot more.
