American layout
This keyboard protector is designed specifically for American layout keyboards. It is made of a durable silicone material that is resistant to dust, spills, and wear and tear. The protector is also transparent, so it does not obscure the keys.I have been using this keyboard protector for several months now, and I am very happy with it. It has kept my keyboard clean and free of dust and spills. The protector is also very comfortable to type on, and it does not interfere with the operation of the keys. One of the things I like most about this keyboard protector is that it is easy to install and remove. Simply place the protector over the keyboard and smooth it out. To remove, simply lift the protector from the keyboard.Overall, I am very satisfied with this keyboard protector. It is well-made, durable, and easy to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their keyboard from dust, spills, and wear and tear.**Pros:*** Durable silicone material* Resistant to dust, spills, and wear and tear* Transparent* Comfortable to type on* Easy to install and remove**Cons:*** None

Top Notch Oil Protection!!
I'm giving it five star because it serve it's purpose well, with that said there are a few things I can comment on what I notice after 2-3 weeks of owning. The keys will feel plastic/rubbery to it. Typing on it will feel less effortless as the button cover well not compress singularly as it's a whole piece especially as most people will not press the keys directly on the middle.Fit wise, it does fit perfectly. Color wise, it is clear, but has a hazy look to it and you can tell it has a cover over it. Through this whole time of owning it, I do not see it getting dirty like how most pictures and video I have seen. The explanation I can come up with is that either people have stuff on there finger when using it or people oil compositing is causing it. My Se7enline still looks pretty new. Also, I don't see my my screen getting dirty from the key guard (probable got to do with my guard not being dirty. Overall, it keeps my key new vs. before I can see my keys getting shiny from the oil from my fingers and I have to wipe it to get it not shiny. Great addition, but not perfect.

Does the job, good value
Perfect fit for my Macbook air. I have had it for over a year now and it still works perfectly. It never slips off and I have often forgotten it is there. Not only does it stop the letters rubbing off my keys, it also makes them a little less slippy. Especially helpful if you have longer nails!

Great idea but......
I read the reviews and I was not sure. I use my Mac everyday and I liked the idea of being able to keep the keys clean and the colour matches my cover. The idea of it is pretty good, but it is not a perfect fit by any means and it is so obvious is when you have the keyboard backlit. Which again is a problem, they have made the keys black, instead of see through and this defeats the purpose of the backlit keyboard. You could also spend quite some time trying to make it look 'perfect' which it never will. The power key is the wrong symbol and on the '3' key the hash is missing, some just don't line up at all, but it is up to you if it would bother you or not. I also find I have to strike the keys a little bit harder. I like the idea, but can I live with it? Not sure. Maybe a clear one for the backlit would be a better choice.

Buying a protector for a UK MacBookPro Touchbar model? Don't buy this one
While the description of the 'Se7enline MacBook Pro 13 15 inch (2016 Version, With TouchBar) Unique Ultra Thin Durable Keyboard Cover Silicone Skin Macbook Pro Keyboard Protector (UK Layout), Transparent-Clear' suggests that the protector covers the Touch-Bar, the one I was sent does not. It's difficult to see from the illustrations on the web-site whether it's meant to or not, but the description suggests that it should be.I contacted the makers and received an incomprehensible reply as follows: 'This keyboard cover is only fit for the macbook pro with touchbar version, not means this protector covers the touchbar. If the protector covered the touchbar, then it will be affect use to touch and the touchbar can not be used.' That may be the case: so no protector should cover the touchbar. However, the makers went on to say: 'If you want the touch bar protector, you can buy the protector which is specifically applicable to the touch bar.'I contacted the makers for a clarification but have had no reply,The conclusion I draw from this is that there may or may not be protectors that cover the touchbar without affecting its use, but that this company's isn't one of them.Does anyone know of a suitable maker?PS After several weeks use, the protector no longer fits snugly: it's ballooning upwards over the space key. Useless rubbish

A good buy if you are not nitpicky and want some variance in your Apple Laptop
I think conceptually this product is great. But the picture above is a bit misleading. As someone else in the review page mentioned and I agreed, that the keys don't fit as smoothly as advertised on the keyboard area, as in you can see that the fit is not perfect or rather not even close to it. However, the material is comfortable and the look is altogether good. You can write well and the softness and adherent stick of the material is good enough. The keys are soft allowing no added pressure on the fingertips and if you are a tactile person like me the effect is very good. The colour scheme is pretty good too. I would say this is a good buy. Just need some additional twerks in future versions.I also got the Robin Egg Blue or Turquoise version. Below are pictures. As you can see it fits in very nicely. I would say even better than some other keyboard cover brands. The backlits LED is well seen when the light opacity goes down. It is a good buy.
