Sharp image good value for
Clear image from all magnifications and certainly up to the job be it changing watch batteries or threading a fine sewing needle. Having the three magnification is a must. Very good value.

Do the job
Cheap and cheerful but they work fine. I use mine in combination with reading glasses and the most powerful lens can resolve the very fine detail on electronic components.

Cheap and not-so-cheerful
I bought these for inspecting solder joints. They do the job, but they are just cheap plastic lenses with no optical coating of any kind. This means that they lose contrast very quickly in bright side light, on the other hand if they ever get scratched you can simply polish them using plastic polish.

cheap and work
got these to inspect items at work. They are not the best money can buy, but they work really well and are a good quality optic. Well worth a go, plus not being a silly price, should they get damaged or stolen, I would not hesitate to buy again.

scratched lenses
one star because they arrived already scratched, as they are plastic …

Basic Eye Loupe
Whilst I agree to some extent with other reviewers that these 3 piece EyeLoupe magnifiers are pretty basic, they are what I expected for the priceand they work for me.They come marked with 2X, 5X and 10X magnification and are suitable for thetasks for which I use them, such as checking mint marks on coinage and forreading the markings on philatelic items. They fit in the eye, much like a monocle does and I find them comfortable. Both lens and holder are made from plastic, but anyone with specialistrequirements should really be going for a glass bevelled lens.Much depends on the state of our eyes. Our optical needs are all different.Professionals would no doubt purchase their loupes from an optical specialist. My father who in later life was a clock and watch repairer, had his loupelenses prescribed and made by his optician. No idea why they are listed as toy. They are not toys.

Keeping a good eye on the job in hand!
I brought these on the recommendation of my audiologist for cleaning or maintenance of hearing aids which with modern technology are now miniscule. He suggest 5x magnification suited him best. After looking at what was available I selected this set because there were three different magnifications included. I read the reviews suggesting there was little difference between the three and decided to take a chance at this price. The eye glasses arrived excellently packed with individual compartments on a card, each clearly labelled with the magnification. All three were very different and appear to give the stated degree of magnification. They are not individually marked but if kept in the packaging and only one removed at a time they should not get muddled up. They all work well provided the work is held at the right distance from the glass. At this price they are amazing!
