Its malfunctioning
When u use the key to unlock from the side of the lock that faces the inside of the house, it wont work.

A substantial piece of kit, for remote control of an exterior gate from inside the house.
A solid lock, with galvanised parts for corrosion resistance and provision for key opening, manual opening from inside and remote activation from inside the house.You will have to supply your own interior switch, 12vac power supply (transformer) and may have to do some welding to attach lock plate to gate / frame - and you will doubtless be aware that when welding galvanised material, you MUST grind off the zinc plating before applying the weld, or the joint WILL fail.If you don’t have metal melting capabilities available, drilled & tapped holes with appropriate nuts & bolts are almost as strong - but don’t forget to apply primer wherever you drill off the galvanised portion..!
