Quality product for all engineers
A good quality product that comes very useful during standard thread settings and cutting threads. This item is a lifesaver when it comes to determining unknown threads.A point to note is, the blades could have been made another 2.5-3 centimeters longer, enabling to measure of internal threads. 99% onf the time stored in my man draw...but....on that 1% use this tool is fantastic.
Working with screws day in day out you soon learn that you can often size a screw/nut by sight.But occasionally you come accross the odd screw or thread that you struggle with so I reach deep in my man draw, blow of the dust and soon size up that bad boy that challenged me and my aging eyes!..Within seconds you can identify the offending thread and get back to what you need to do.

A great little gauge!
This gauge is tiny, but of a sufficient size to fulfil the function. On small thread bolts, a magnifying glass is a definite advantage. Well made
Great little gauge with a large range of metric and imperial thread pitches. Reasonably well made even for the finer pitches such as 0.5 t/mm.

It's OK but the definition thread on the smallest metrich gauges is non existent. Fortunately I don't expect to need them

Already proved it's worth after one day!
I don't know why I've taken so long to purchase a thread gauge, making do with 'educated' guessing when identifying nuts and bolts from unsorted trays full. So satisfying to finally put them in order with confidence, as this tool is highly accurate and helps to reveal the subtle but important differences between some very similar threads from different standards. Very impressed with the quality and design.
