Wonderful addition
This is excellent. Easy to install. Looks fantastic. A no brainer add-on for that extra protection and to conceal a beat up skeg.

Functional and looks great
If you have a bent it broken skeg, this will definitely do the trick. As long as you can handle a drill, you will have this installed in about 5 it 10 minutes. What I like best (aside from the skeg protection) is the great look. Love the fact that the prop and guard now match.

Only 1 nut
Package of parts had 5 screws and only 1 nut. Installed by under sizing 2nd mounting hole and tapping the hole for a screw only. Would like more nuts to install properly. Product seems to work as advertised. I had a broken skeg and this completed the lower unit. It looked like a previous owner forgot to raise the lower unit when retrieving the boat at the ramp. Boat seemed to steer better (more easily) at mid to full throttle settings.

Great buy, would purchase again
Purchased this guard for my alpha one Mercruiser. It fit perfectly, and install was literally 5 minutes. Fit and finish are great, no complaints and it spiffed up the rear of the boat a little more
