I like that this scale comes with the batteries and a measuring tape! It took 30 seconds to get it all together and is just simple. I can just step on it and it tells me my weight. No app to download, no settings to worry about. Just simple body weight. I really like it. The numbers are nice and big, easy to read, and it's bright enough to see in the dim light setting. I'm happy with my purchase.

I found this scale to be difficult to work with. This scale is so sensitive that any movement at all, no matter how slight, prevents it from setting a weight. One morning, I had to put my hands up against the wall and hold my breath to get a reading. This scale has automatic calibration. If you move the scale, you must get on the scale and wait until you get a reading. Then you must get off the scale and then back on the scale a second time to get the accurate reading. Physician's are required to keep their scales calibrated. The weight readings on this scale are not consistent with the weight readings at my physician's office. The first time I used this scale, my weight was approximately 3 lbs more than on the physician's scale. So, I started weighing myself on this scale right after I left the physician's office. It was not consistently 3 lbs more each time. One time, when I was able to get a weight, it was different--the first time I weighed myself, it was 1 lb more; I weighed myself a second time and it was 2 lbs more than the weight at the physician's office. This is frustrating!!! Unfortunately, I missed the return date by one day, so I am stuck with this scale. I am going to continue working with it, but I am also going to look for a scale that is NOT digital and one that I can calibrate manually (do they even make these anymore?).Update 6/18/2022I purchased an analog scale and I love it! I manually calibrate it before each time I weigh myself, and I do not have problems with the dial constantly moving. Even if I move a little, it still gives me a weight. I have not had a chance to compare it to my physician's scale. I am just happy that I can get a weight!!!

When I unpacked the scale and installed the batteries it wouldn't settle on a weight! I got off because it said the first reading should be disregarded and a second weight should be performed. I waited for the scale to reset and got back on the scale, but it wouldn't activate. I took the batteries out to try to reset it; it eventually returned the error for low batteries, which I replaced with new ones. When I got back on the scale the display wouldn't light up; but when I got off it displayed a weight. I got off and waited for the scale to reset so I could weigh again. The same results. After 4 or 5 attempts it finally gave me the over the weight limit error. I tried removing the batteries again, but it didn't help. I spent approximately an hour trying to get this scale working, but to no avail! There is no customer service number included in any of the material sent with this product. I disposed of this scale and just wrote off the $40 I paid for. I can't believe Amazon doesn't do a better of product testing on what they sell; it has made me reconsider using Amazon in the future. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying this product!After my unfavorable review of this product earlier I was contacted by the merchant and offered a full refund of my purchase price or a replacement of the product. I chose a replacement of the product; this entire process took approximately 2 weeks. When the replacement arrived, the batteries were dead again. The replacement scale is working well thus far. I raised my rating because of their sincere effort to make this purchase right. I hope this helps anyone deciding on purchasing this product!

What I like about this scale is the base is big and the numbers are big the one thing I noticed is you step on it the first time it gives you your weight you step on it the second time it gives you a different weight the third time you step on it it gives you the same weight as the second time so keep that in mind when you purchase this other than that it's pretty accurate.

It's so hard to find the right product some times. Got it! I was looking for one flat on the top, big enough for size 14 feet. High weight capacity, self calibrating. High repeatability. Same weight as the Dr's Scale. Came with alkaline batteries. Win, win, win
