Product description Nirvana ~ Incesticide .co.uk And so, in the fiscally dark years between Nevermind and the much-delayed In Utero, Geffen Records cobbled together a pile of Nirvana b-sides and out-takes, and were so glad they had something to bleed the hungry grunge-hordes dry with that they allowed Cobain to give it the poisonous title Incesticide. As cash-ins go, it's one of the more essential ones: obviously there simply aren't that many Kurt Cobain songs in existence, and the inclusion of the incredibly rare single "Sliver" and the insanely catchy "Mexican Seafood" will gladden any Nirvana fan's heart. The 50s' pop parody of "Hairspray Queen" reminds us that--hey!--Kurt was a funny guy too, and "Aero Zeppelin" and "Big Long Now" would hardly look out of place on either Nevermind or In Utero. And the liner-notes--a Cobain-penned rant begging all jocks, homophobes, racists and sexists not to buy his records--are a piece of rock history in their own right. --Caitlin Moran

Buy it.
Everything about this album is awesome. From they way it's raw grungy tunes took me back to my early teens. The heavy, soild vinyl fit's nicely into its sleeve without needing a shoehorn to remove it. Top quality product. If you are thinking about buying this, stop thinking and get your wallet out.

Superb sound once past the warp
I’ve bought 2 copies of this as had to return due to a slight warp on first disc which isn’t obvious to look at that. But apparent when playing as causes needle to jump. The replacement copy has the same warp. I’m going to keep this one as once past the jump the sound is stunning on this album. The jump is literally just on opening few seconds of Dive.Still giving 5 stars as it’s a stunning sound & can’t fault return policy on Amazon as received replacement quickly.

Fun fact
Three of the tracks on here were recorded for the John Peel sessions but one was recorded for the Mark Goodier session.

Fantastic compilation!
I’ve always loved this brilliant collection of non-album singles, b-sides, radio sessions etc. There really isn’t a bad track on this 2LP set and it definitely stands comparison with Nirvana’s studio albums. The source material may be of variable quality, but the sound on this 45rpm pressing cut by the legendary Bernie Grundman is nothing short of incredible on a decent system. Highly recommended.

You gotta grab what you can..
A really good collection of tracks that sound amazing on this record (vinyl). There's no Paisley Park vault with Nirvana so you obviously gotta grab what you can, but you won't be disappointed... An amazing collection of music !!
