Good quality, travel with work and this is perfect for the jobs I do. It is only light work and in some confined spaces.

I bought this to solve a particular problem I had. I now wonder how I did without it for so long. It is the ideal kit for use in confined places. I was particularly impressed with the system for securing the sockets in the case. I don't have it long enough to comment on it's longevity but it seems pretty durable. My only complaint is the absence of a straight screwdriver bit but that's a problem that is easily fixed. It may seem to be rather expensive but as the saying goes, "the quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten"

I honestly think the other guy with the 1-star review is an idiot. He has only 2 reviews and they are both 1-star and both for Wera products and his other video is also equally meaningless. It is obvious to anyone that these sockets are not designed for a thread to pass-through. The only sockets I am aware of that do that are the Vortex (Draper or also USA makes) ones. This is an expensive little kit and I thought long about this but I have no regrets at buying it. This is a quality product, well made, excellently designed and packaged in the little case with logo thereon. For reaching hard-to-get screws and fixings in restricted spaces I think this kit is unbeatable. I don't mind paying for quality (ok Leica - perhaps you're a bit too rich for me!) and this kit is quality. The only possible weakness could be that the sockets are not deep, inherently so given the stated design, I'm glad I bought this.

Ideal for the small jobs -one small ratchet and one very small-got an arrangement of different sockets and screwdriver bits -but it’s handy to pop in the car or take with you while cycling

The 8790 FA sockets are:> light. The 9 sockets weigh a combined 75g compared to 127g for standard sockets by Bahco.> compact. Depth is 18 mm for all the sockets when fitted in the Zyklop ratchet. Hex depth in the head varies from 5.8mm to 7mm.> can be used with standard 1/4" drive. As well as having an external 11mm hex drive for use in the Zyklop rachet, they also have an internal 1/4" square hole with indents for ball bearings.> allow limited pass-through. The 1/4" hole also permits pass-through of bolts. It is limited to around M7 however, which is problematic for 12 and 13 mm nuts, where you'd expect to see M8 bolts.> compatible with Facom RXPICO range. The R.180HX ratchet also works great with these sockets.The 8005 Zyklop Mini 2:> weighs 91g and is 107.6 mm long.> is ergonomic in the hand and finished to a high quality.> holds sockets in place by means of a friction ring. This can sometimes require more force than desirable to remove the sockets.> does not come with an adaptor for standard 1/4" sockets. If you want to use these, you'll need the Gedore 1/4" coupler inside one of the sockets. If you're adventurous, you can order an extra 8790 FA and grind the head off to better accommodate the coupler.

Expensive but worth every penny. Top quality and excellent design for those difficult to access jobs.
