I'm a big person and this stool is very sturdy and seems to be well made. The seat is small. Double check to make sure it's right for you. I've gotten used to it. It's folding design is perfect for my tiny work area.

As the title of this review suggests, my wife and I were both extremely pleased with this "bar stool," although that is not how we are using it. My wife and I are getting to the age where we like to sit down while doing some typically simple tasks. For example. she uses it to sit in front of a mirror to dry and curl her hair after a shower, and I use it to sit in front of a mirror when I shave.What we immediately noticed was how light and easy to carry from room to room even when not folded. Being made of tubular aluminum it was well engineered and manufactured, surprisingly comfortable, and sturdy for how we use it. The only reason we only gave it four stars for its sturdiness is we are not too sure how well it would suit a "large" person using to sit at bar. Its footprint on the floor is typically narrower than I think is typical of a "real barstool." Other than we highly recommend it.

I like the back rest on it but it has a small footprint. You need to be careful sitting. I had it tip over once and I went down on top of it.

This was just ridiculous. Broke right away. Leg bent beyond repair. Well within the weight limit of the chair. I did return this. Everything is junk nowadays! Bring back made in the USA!

Very sturdy for my height and weight ( 130 lb 5.5' female ) It is a Light Weight for Light Weights. It stores super Flat. Looks stylish leaning against the wall. CAUTION: Toddlers should NOT use it for a support. Always fold it away when babies are about.

I'm in a band and as I get older I've found the need to sit from time to time. I wanted something easily transportable, not too noticeable on stage if it's not in use and I needed it to have some back support. I shopped for hours and decided on this one. So far I'm very happy with my choice.
