Exellent little piece of kit. Just add lighting gels for even better watermark detection...
Will detect phosphor on stamps using short wave UV, fluorescence using long wave UV, water marks using white light. Best used in a darkened room.I bought and cut to size red, blue and green gels to copy the Sherlock Watermark detector, saving me £80.Instructions are in German, but are easily cut and paste/typed from the product description/manual and translated using the Web...Me and my daughter are very pleased with it.

This item do not come with english instruction manual. This item is shipped from Germany! Even manufacturer cannot provide one! Excellent item btw!!!

I bought Philalux 3 - UV Longwave and Shortwave Lamp with Built-in Magnifiers as a gift to my relative who is a long time obsessive numismatist. He was very happy with this lamp.
