This is a very nicely made jug for filling your engine oil. I see people have used it for other things but I don’t think it was designed for anything other than motor oil. Lid fits snugly, cap for the spout is a great touch and means you can leave oil in it without fear of it becoming contaminated. The joint for the screw on spout doesn’t leak and is good and tight. Overall, nice useful, puts the oil in your engine not over it. I can’t see any negatives and I’ve no idea what you could complain about. For several reviewers, THE SPOUT ARRIVES INSIDE THE JUG! duh!

Bought the jug for handling toxic chemicals.The caps are not liquid proof for water like substances, but for thicker oils they probably are.The screw on nozzle leaked a little where it joins the main body, but an o ring sorted that out.The volume markings are at 1 litre intervals and I would have liked to have seen markings down to 100ml for accuracy.Overall a good, sturdy high capacity jug.

exellent for the use i need good quality

Needed a container that could hold diesel for when i changed the fuel filter on my Audi A3 8v TDI. This 1lt jug with spout was PERFECT!.I filled this up first with diesel before filling up my car. The next day i changed the fuel filter which you then need to top up the canister with the new filter inside to the top. This jug with the spout was perfect at doing that job!

Perfect to carry a small (1 Litre) amount of oil and dispense into an awkwardly placed oil filler point on a car engine. Ideal for those extra long journeys such as touring around Europe etc. It obviates the need to carry a messy funnel. It is white not blue and the contents level can clearly be seen through the plastic. Very pleased

With its flexible nozzle it is great for using to feed and water growbags etc, and does not leak. However, when full it is heavy for my arthritic wrist to angle and pour accurately, or even to carry. I can support with my other hand under the nozzle, but an additional handle on the top, in front of the opening, or hinged so it doesn't obscure the opening, would be useful, especially for a one handed carry. It is easy to see the level markings from the outside, but it would be useful to have half litres marked and dispense with the US volume markings, and also to have the volume markings on both sides of the jug. The screw caps on the main opening and on the nozzle are great for keeping spiders etc out when not in use. On the whole, if you don't need a spray rose, much easier than a standard watering can for mixing plant feed etc.
