Just the item to seal a draught
This is absolutely fantastic. We have developed a draught through our front door and I was looking for something to help solve that. After looking through the products available I decided this would more likely work best. The item quickly and was well packaged. The item has 3 D shaped foam tubes which have self adhesive strips to the back. Depending on the size of the gap you want to fill you can use all 3 or you can split it to 1 or 2 thickness. The instillation was very quick and easy. I cut each strip to the correct length. Cleaned the frame quickly (it does tell you to wash down with alcohol or a de greaser however I didn't have any of this) then peel off the sticky protector sheet and stick to the door.It has stuck fine and is working a treat!Highly recommended

Decent product from Tesa
Upon reading the reviews I decided to give this product a try as claimed 40% heating energy savings sounded enticing.I followed the directions and have cleaned the surfaces thoroughly before applying the tape since any dirt or dust will affect the ability of the tape to adhere to the surface. On some places, the gaps were too large for any draught tape to handle so I applied the tape twice, one on top of another, which I know isn't recommended but there is no other way around it, the doors are wonky I guess, but I found that it did end up helping. As for the energy efficiency, I did notice the next day that the temperature dropped less during the day, but that may be due to various variables so I will keep monitoring the temperatures during the day and will update the review if I am not satisfied with the result. The only thing I dislike about this product is the length, in the product description it says 6 meters and the tape is actually 2 meters long but has 3 of them which does end up being 6 meters, but I might want a continuous 6-meter tape and I do not like the way they pre-cut it regardless if it makes sense as most windows and doors are under 2 meters high.Overall, installing draught seals will help the overall energy efficiency of your home which will, in turn, lower your heating bills. Tesa makes good products and so far I haven't had any issues using their product as long as I followed the instructions by letter.

Brilliant alternative to the DIY shop foam draught excluder - highly recommended
Having used foam draught excluded for all the doors in the house I didn't realise this alternative was available until a few months back. The traditional foam draught excluded yellows after a year or so and looks shabby. The tessa draught excluder is made from rubber, much more durabale and doesn't yellow.Preparing - It takes longer to prep than fit if you are replacing the yellowed foam excluder. I recommend using a small decorators knife to get most of the foam off. Gently scrape so not to damage the woodwork. Then you'll need white spirit, a cloth and a lot of elbow grease to get the remnants off. Make sure you leave it for 1/2 hour or so to dry and wipe again with a dry cloth this time.Fitting - this is a breeze, the backing comes off easy and just fit it tight up against the edge. I used a sanding block to push it firmly all the way round and get a good fit. Cut to size with a Stanley knife as it is quite thick. Then shut the door for a while to allow it to set firmly.Quality - this is durable and well made, once the door is closed, no draughts at all and it looks great if you have white doors. Professional look rather than bodged DIY.Any down sides - Well one door doesn't quite shut, so check your doors aren't a little tight when they close before fitting or you may have issues. I will just need to adjust door catch slightly. How much do you need? Well the average door will have a high of just under 200cms, so one 6M pack will do one door comfortably. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Has potential........however
It Seals well, soft and exactly what you need, however i had to change the double sided tape for some decent 3M stuff as the tape used is useless and keeps detaching. If they used decent tape it would be the perfect product, it should be half the cost until it's been changed

Won't stick, seems to have post-it glue
Maybe received a bad roll, if that's the case Tesa should send me a replacement one for free...The one I received has the worst glue possible. It won't stick to anything I tried. I properly cleaned and made sure the multiple surfaces I tries were clean and dry without any residue, but the glue wont stick and even when it stick, it will fall off in a week...

The quality of the double-sided tape is very good, it's a strong grip but enough "give" to ...
I bought this product to seal the gaps around the doors in my home office (which used to be a summer house - essentially a posh shed at the bottom of the garden) and it's made a big difference. The product is supplied in one 2m strip from which you tear (gently!) the product 3 ways to produce 3x2m strips. The quality of the double-sided tape is very good, it's a strong grip but enough "give" to allow you to adjust the placement when installing. The gap in my doors (around 4mm) was comfortably sealed and the wind and rain no longer blows into my office whilst I'm trying to work.Very pleased with the end result.

Easy to apply.
Item was delivered without extra packaging (original sleeve only) and seemed somewhat battered. It was disappointing that the 6m is actually 3 two metre lengths, which required me to have joints on the long edges of the door frame. The product was tightly wound resulting in indentations which didn't disappear despite it being laid out flat for a few days. It was easy to apply, adhesion seems good, but time will tell how good. Door is now a solid fit.
