OK at last - but DHL is not very good.
The console I was sent refused to load the game. I tried every CD in the pack but it refused each time. I had to send the whole thing back - thank goodness I hadn't thrown away the packaging. It was a real trial getting everything back in the box, but I did it.I contacted the carrier (DHL) to arrange collection. I stayed in all next day but by 6pm I had got very worried. I eventually managed to get through to them on the phone ( it is VERY hard to find a number for them as they prefer email contact). I was told that the driver had finished his shift and would call next day.Duh! A completely wasted day.Next day the driver phoned mid-morning asking where I was - the address he had been given on the form by DHL had missed out the name of my village and he was in a city 10 miles away looking for my address. I gave him directions and he eventually turned up.After I had been given a receipt I noticed that the bar code on it was not the same as the tracking number I had been given when I first arranged collection by DHL. I tried the old tracking number - it didn't work. I tried the new one - that didn't work either.I emailed Amazon to explain the situation. They replied saying that the failure to collect on the stipulated day had led to the tracking number being invalid.Good old Amazon let me know when the returned console had arrived. Thank you! I was VERY worried that i would have to end up paying for the replacement as well as the broken one.The console is everything I expected. Games are great. DHL is'nt!

Wii Console + Wii Fit Plus
I Purchased my Wii Console together with a Wii Fit Balance Board to help me create an exercise regime. I have been using this every day for the last month and I am very impressed with the overall package. Also my Grandchildren love to visit to play the large selection of games and Wii Fit fun challenges. When I purchased the Wii I wasnt aware that I would be able to connect it to the internet using the Wi-Fi I already have piped to my house. The ability to connect to BBC Iplayer and watch programmes missed during the previous week really amazed me with the ease of use and I have found this to be a really useful additional feature.Overall I think its a good value for money product.

Cynic
I purchased this Wii console and Sports Resort, along with Wii-fit and balance board, as a Christmas present for my wonderful wife. We found it relatively easy to set up and, so far, it has worked reliably. There is a wide range of activities which would, I am sure, suit most people with different interests, and uses competitiveness as a means of encouragement to work harder. The only slightly negative comment I have is that it tends to 'talk' too much during the initial measurement procedures. One final point I should like to make is that contrary to the date given when I was invited to comment, I did not purchase this on the 11th day of the 30th month, but on the 30th day of the 11th month! Amazon is eroding our Britishness - we are still independent of America (though, sadly, not of Europe)!

Im still on the fence about the controller.
So firstly I didn't get motion plus and Wii sports resort I only got the regular controller and Wii sports.Wii sports I didn't like the controls so much. I actually haven't played it much because I didn't like the controls. Not sure if that's my problem since many find the controls ok.But buying a Wii enables me to play many games I wanted to play. For example I purchased super Mario galaxy which is absolutely superb. I tried metroid prime corruption but again struggled with the controls.Maybe I just don't like the wiimote! I think I am someone who prefers a regular controller. So be aware when you buy a Wii that you might not like the controller. Or it's possible that's just me. There's still other games I want to play on the Wii maybe they will sell me on the controller.I would only buy a Wii if there's many games in its library you want to play. It also plays GameCube games so if you never owned a GameCube then a Wii could be a good choice since GameCube has several superb games. That's all I can think of for now! I will add graphically to me it seems same as the GameCube not more powerful. But I am told it is actually a more powerful machine. The games look GameCube quality though although there are parts in Mario galaxy which perhaps couldn't be done on the cube.

Review of Wii bundle.
Firstly, the console looks great. Its a clean, glossy white with few buttons and a stylish angular design. It has a bright blue light that shimmers when you enter a disk and when you recieve a message. The console is very easy to set up. The graphics are very good, better than the playstation 2. The graphics are excellent. The gameplay is fantastic due to the ultra accurate wii motionplus control.Connects to the internet easily, quickly and has a free, high quality browser. Also available to download retro games from a wide variety of older systems. Overall a ten out of ten console, and this offer is by far the best I have seen anywhere. Go buy, you won't be disappointed!Graphics - 9/10Gameplay - 10/10Internet - 9/10Fun - 10/10Aesthetics- 9/10Price - 10/10

A great help to me
I bought the Wii and also purchased the Wii Fit plus and balance board.I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, and, on a recent visit to my Pysio the Wii was mentioned as an aid to balance, and balance excercises. My M.S. prevents me from venturing too far outdoors, so this is a great help for me to excercise with Yoga, muscle stretches and balance. It is also great fun, some of the games, although they look like just simple fun, actually excercise muscles, but in a fun way.For me personally, it's a substitute for going out and excercising, also visits to the gym would be almost impossible for me. So, all in all, I have found it, a fun way to get my excercising done!
