Fabulous!!! I was able to put together myself, the seat is sturdy (my old one was thin) lightweight to pick up and easy for me to put together with great directions.

This is a G-d send! With a fractured arm and ankle I need some support and confidence to get up an down. The best help in this not so pleasant situation. Arrived in time and a neighbor put it together very quickly. It is very secure.

If you're a 200+ lb hip replacement patient this is a must have. Sturdy, well built. You'll need it for a month or maybe more.

This has worked well for a friend who broke a leg. It seems to be sturdy and stays in place.The instructions I found pretty unhelpful but I eventually figured out the best way to put it together. Including the hex wrench was a big benefit of course.If the instructions were better, I probably would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent item. It sits almost flush to the toilet seat and has terrific stability.

First, this riser toilet seat was easy to put together. Next, it is compact enough to fit in a small bathroom. We have our on the first floor half bath, which is very small, and is needed after knee surgery. The wall to our toilet bowl is about 8 inches. The height on the seat is adjustable, which makes it perfect for a tall or short person.

This commode is rated for 400 pounds. I am under 300. Approximately 285 so I transferred from a wheelchair to the commode. The cross braces on the commode are spot welded in one of the braces have broken free along with that. The toilet seat is like hollow plastic, and the seam runs all the way center, and as cracked and now it has sharp edges and I have cut my hand on it so there are some major flaws with this commode buyer beware.

Item was as described. But this item is not really steady. My mom is a very petit woman, and this chair kept moving on her. She kept falling backwards as she used the arms to help her up. I wouldn't recommend this chair for slight people who will depend on the arms to assist in getting up. Otherwise the chair was fine.
