Carlinkit CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter for Netflix & YouTube, Wireless Media Streaming to Car & TV

After trying out a lot of different android boxes for my 17 Audi Q7 this has done the job. So it comes with Netflix and YouTube but you could use the chrome browser to download Disney plus not that hard at all there’s this dude that walks you through it on YouTube extremely easy. Set up wasn’t bad you have to connect your Wi-Fi from your phone. Side not it does not connect automatically to your hotspot. I usually just open my hotspot on my phone and go to setting and make sure it’s connecting. Usually by the time I get to the setting in the android box it’s already connecting. Could be just my iPhone that needs confirmation to connect or for me to open it. But again NOT A BIG DEAL. Runs very smoothly plays music from Bluetooth. All my infotainment buttons work with it knobs controls volume back buttons. All the buttons work from your car integrated with it. All in all it work great.

Overall 4.8. 2020 Toyota Avalon. Android auto was released with the 21 model year and beyond, but 2020 only has apple carplay. One issue I have is that if I am playing a song through the bluetooth audio, and I go to use the native pre-installed google maps, it will decrease the sound volume to almost silent, and I cannot increase the volume unless I leave google maps. This will not happen with Waze or any other GPS app you download from the play store. This was a little annoying to me, as I prefer google maps over Waze. The volume will return back to normal as soon as I leave the app. It is an issue only with this one app. Other than that, it works great, all the functions and features I want work. Over time I'll get used to Waze and it is worth it for all the other features this device has, especially since my car does not have android auto at all natively.

Worked great when I 1st purchased... now a few months later it keeps restarting itself. Tried factory reset and still the same.

Unit appears to be used.While it's working, it's fantastic. It shuts off periodically and the lights on top don't work at all. Car needs to be turned on and off to start again.Tried technical support, but can't get through to anyone. Link and phone number both don't work. May just need to be updated.. but I don't know

Pros: Compact design and easy to connect.Cons: Will not work for non-touch screen displays, could not switch to Apple CarPlay view (Android view only), and the couple pages of technical documentation/user guide is not helpful.Returned the same day I received it.

This works better than I anticipated. Everything is pretty snappy with minimal touch input lag. My phone is a S23 ultra. I'm really happy so far with this box. I got the 8gb of memory one because I was worried about lag. Can't really complain about anything yet. The UI seems well thought out and YouTube TV works along with my other apps.

Living in one of the USA's traffic battlegrounds is like signing up for a daily marathon where what should be a 20-minute breeze drive transforms into an exhausting 1 hour and 45-minute crawl during rush hour. Its like merging onto a highway-turned-parking-lot after a full day's work, where you're practically on a first-name basis with the car next to you. To salvage my sanity from this traffic nightmare, I turned to science podcasts, hoping to ascend into an intellectual stratosphere while inching forward. But then it hit me! When I saw the line of cars in traffic and thought about "The Grand Line" I told myself thah it would be nice to catch up on "One Piece" during the rush hour bumper to bumper traffic. After a throughout research I came across this device and can now finally catch up on "One Piece"

So I bought it about a month ago, I use every day for my commute to work, I like to listen to Youtube videos and podcast, I don't watch the videos while I drive. The first issue I have is the phone app, it has 2, since the dice has a sim slot, it wants to make by defoult the call thru that app, no your phone, so if you want to make a call, you have to click on a blue phone app icon, look up manually with the firt letter you wqnt to call, click on the name and than hit send,so forget about asking Google to call someone, it will not work. The device can have two apps open at the same time for example Maps and Pandora, ut whe you have 2 apps open the audio on the app sound like you are listening thru a metal can, you hear just the voice of the music not the bass or mids, than sometimes the device decides to have the audio sound like garbage thru the car radio, and there is no way to make it go back to sound normal unless you factory reset the device, since I had the device in a perid of 30dyas I already did a factory reset to fix the audio issue 3 times. There is no way to lock the eevice so when you first turn it on you would have to enter a lock code or pattern, so anyone can still the device from your car and have access to your google account. Over all I would definitely not recommend this device, way too many issues for a device that cost this much.Update 6/1/23, I tried reaching out to the manufacturer to see if they can help, I got a reply that they only do after sale support for devices ordered directly from their website, not their amazon online store, they are trying to cut off and by pass Amazon....
