Huge cage does not fit through the door
My 4 adult rats live it plenty room for my 3 babies to join them once there bigger too easy enough to build without the instructions and I can fit my whole upper body in the doors for cleaning so apart from being a little fiddly with all the bits it’s a great cage with plenty space to add ur own toys and will house quite a few rats comfortably

Unsuitable
My purchase was a mistake. It arrived in a tatty and torn cardboard box sealed and repacted with sellotape several times it seemed. I unpacked it and found no instructions or list of contents inside just a small scrap of paper an advert for a instructional video. On the video web site it states that a video is not available for this product. It also stated no one person should attempt to set it up two people should be the minimum. I do not recommend this product. I am unable to reseal and return this product without climbing into the garbage skip, but I will keep the contents in my flat for it to be collected. I am 86 disabled with heart failure and kidney failure I am part blind and deaf. I cannot return the item It must be collected by you, I can not lift it or move it. It is a monster. I will have to get a contractor to move it to a dump. If you are unable to collect it. Please advise. kind regards John Whittam

Fantastic
Huge, spacious and very very well made. Every cage I had in the past had some sort of compromise or had build issues. But this one is top notch. Very well crafted with extremely well prepared parts. Cleaning it is also very easy and my ferret is extremely enjoying his mansion these days! The wheels are very useful as well. This is huge. I note a HUGE cage. The picture makes it look tiny.

Poor design
Nightmare to put together, instructions were awful - just about three pictures of unlabelled pieces and parts going together. Doesn’t make it clear at all that the top and bottom pieces of wire are different fittings, so I ended up having to take it apart to fix.I bought for rats, not ferrets, and while it’s an amazing amount of space for them, the bar spacing and the weird corner supports makes hanging hammocks really difficult, especially because you can’t hang from the ceiling if you want to be able to open the top door, which is just as awful as the front two doors.Oh boy, the doors are bad. They’re positioned right at the bottom of each floor, not the middle or the top, so trying to reach things above them? Dream on. Hanging hammocks and toys is so fiddly it’s ridiculous. And let’s not forget that this cage goes back 80cm and only has doors on the one side??? I’m small, and I have to essentially climb into the cage to be able to reach the back, which my rats probably don’t appreciate!Haven’t cleaned it yet, but I know it’s going to be a nightmare as it’s so heavy you can’t really take it apart easily.I would give this a miss, and go for a cage which has more accessible doors.

a palace for a single ferret
Really nice cage, very spacious. The wheels are very convenient for cleaning as the cage is quite heavy (about 20 kg). I only have one ferret and she has more than enough space. She doesn't use the plastic tubes so I'm using hammocks instead (but I assume it is a matter of your pet's preference). The two side-doors are large enough for me to fit my shoulders in and clean the cage (which I do every day). The fact that the two bases are made of plastic makes cleaning very easy, as I only need to vacuum and then give tit a quick wipe, no need to scrub like I did with my old, home made cage. The only difficulty I have encountered so far (it's been 15 days), is to attach the hammocks. I have to get my head and shoulders inside the cage (which is a little difficult for the bottom part) and adjust and re-adjust them until they are the right hight (my ferret is ageing so I have to make absolutely sure she can get into her beds.)The only tiny issue is that the bottom door my 5 year-old ferret uses to get out is a slightly high and she has a little trouble getting out of her cage. She still manages though, and when the time comes when she has more trouble I will simply build her an access ramp.however, the fact that the base is so high prevents all the little food bits, hair and litter to fall out, so I guess i'm winning.Regarding the accessories, I am not using the litter tray that came with it. I have one that has holes at the back, allowing me to attach the litter tray to the cage, as my ferret has a tendency to kick things around when she gets impatient, so if ferplast could change the model of litter tray they provide with the cage, it would be great. The food tray that is attached to the cage is extremely convenient and prevent the little princess to throw her food all over the cage when she's in the mood, I even bought a second, similar bowl for her water.I would totally recommend this cage to anyone, unless they have difficulties bending and reaching. However, apart from this detail, this cage will be a great home for your pet(s). I built my previsous cage five years ago, thinking that it would allow me to offer Kahuna something better and cheaper. However, after buying all the material, tools, unit and cage accessories, it worked out about the same price.I can now say that the ferplast furet tower is worth its price and is very well design. I have no regret whatsoever, and even wish I had bought it years ago.

My ferrets love this
It's bigger than expected and easily moved around, its not so easy to clean if you're ferrets are to big for the litter tray

Arrived broken!
The good thing is that it’s big. However that is the only good thing. Instructions are not specific at all. For some weird reason the top half and bottom half have different size “wires” so spent a lot of time faffing trying to jam the smaller grey connector bits on to the thicker cage walls rather than the smaller ones that it’s supposed to go on (would help if instructions mentioned this stupid design) a lot of it came bent as well. The bottom plastic base also came cracked (I’ve contacted them to see if I can get a replacement which hopefully I can). It’s also horrible to clean out, luckily I’m small enough to basically get in the cage but even going through the doors it’s still difficult to clean out. Would not recommend. Wish I looked at the reviews before buying :)
