Jennov POE Camera Outdoor 5MP(2592x1944) HD IP PTZ Security Camera with 5X Optical Zoom, 260° Pan-Tilt View, 68ft NightVision, Human Detection, Mic/Audio, IP66 Weatherproof, Videolink APP

I ordered 2 of these cameras, and neither one are POE's! What I received were 2 cameras with power adapters, connections for using the power adapters, and zero POE injectors, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and hooked them up with my own POE injectors, they will NOT power as POEs nor are they seen on the network even when I use their app to detect!Updated: this company began communicating with me immediately and bent over backwards to correct the issues I was having, I am still a little upset about the cameras, however I do not feel the product was defective, I am of the opinion that the cameras were possibly miss labeled in some way. Their customer service is very deserving of the 5 star rating I upgraded them to, it has been a very long time since I have done business with a company that did everything they could to correct an issue with a customer.

I was originally looking at one of jennov's higher end cameras until i happened upon this one. it checked all the boxes for what i wanted at half the price of the other. it has worked wonderfully for me, and its capable of setting up on a poe system with nvr which will be my next step. will definitely purchase more products from jennov

I have several Jennov Cameras. I like the quality of this camera, the zoom & PTZ capabilities as well as the range of the night vision. It comes with a metal bracket to mount to a wall/surface and it has a built-in access on the bottom of the bracket to connect your Ethernet cables in which is a nice touch. It also includes a cover for that access hole as well to keep out the weather and critters.

These have been great cameras but the last 2 I received have not been good. I installed both of them and one of them kept spinning around it would not stop hunting so I asked for a replacement. I received it this morning and replaced the defective unit and this one here clearly has issues with the night vision. I’m attaching a screenshot of both cameras side by side. The fence in the picture is about 20’ away and can not be seen, the house about 40’ and it can be seen clearly. These cameras are on a property 2 hours away from my home so I won’t be driving out there again 3 days in a row to replace a camera that should have worked the first time. Disappointed…

Quick update. This camera for some reason is one of the few newer styles I've ever seen that does NOT provide a color image at night. The only illumination it contains is the IRs which only provide a black and white image. Despite the setting in the Configuration screen that says 'Pure White Light", that does NOT work. It took three days of back and forth emails for Support to find that out. Apparently they didn't even know that initially.The good news is that even a very little amount of light from a low power LED landscape type flood light provides enough illumination for a decent color image.=========Couldn't find anything of the back or the guts. So here they are.Cable comes out of the bottom of the camera and feeds though the mounting bracket. It can be fed through the wall (or cover plate of a box if you choose) straight out of the back of the bracket, or can be dropped down through the hole and protected by the included grommet. Two small screws (included) mount the camera to the base. Camera is motorized and rotates above the base.Pan runs side to side and tilt goes nearly straight down, but only up about 10-15 degrees above level. Zoom is sufficient for most needs.Once an IP address was assigned, it populated easily on the Xenocam 8 channel NVR I use. PTZ controls work from there also.Assembly and set-up took less time than taking the pictures and writing this up.Main thing In didn't like was having to download a tool from their website, but that seems to be the standard method these days.

The media could not be loaded. Hooked this up to my swann nvr came right up! Took it and put it on another server and logged into it directly for configurations and presets. It has vehicle detection, people, motion and other features. Vehicle I turned off since blinking frames I don’t need for watching the sunrise and sunset. I set 7 of the 255 presets. I set the zoom where I wanted it since my nvr doesn’t support zoom functions. Default user is admin default password is 123456 but it will prompt you to change it. The ptz can be controlled for either of my nvr systems. Most feature functionality is dependent on your nvr. This one is clear enough to use with my luxriot lpr functionality which is software defined. I believe the port the nvr is using is port 80 but I believe my luxriot picked up was 8899. Definitely worth the purchase. Night vision is excellent! Keep in mind mine is mounter to my rooftop and my zoom set to 2xUpdate: 6/15/24I bought a second one. Support is available if you need it. The software on their site needs updated but if you run it and find the camera then use the ip in a browser you can log into the camera you can set up the features like motion detect, human detect, vehicle detect etc. I turn off the framing because I don’t like seeing the frames. I will have to go back in and put one of the cameras back on my poe switch and set some of the features since when I initially set it up I didn’t know it had these. I have 3 jennov cameras and I am definitely now a fan. My initial experience several years ago was overwhelming but part of that was my learning curve understanding onvif. They shipped me a new camera the first shot then I left it in the box 2 years. Once I realized I could hook it up to my swann nvr game on.
