I have never believed in a product as much as I believe in the Earthborn Elements Soy Protein Powder
I have never believed in a product as much as I believe in the Earthborn Elements Soy Protein Powder. Here is everythingyou need to know about this product, IMO:SAFETY: Should you be concerned about estrogen-like effects from isoflavins in soy? No. My understanding is that estrogen and estrogen-like compounds have positive effects on the male body when training for strength and muscle gain. According to Dr. Mike Israetel from RP Strength, who holds a PhD in Sports Physiology, estrogen is highly anabolic to muscle tissue especially when testosterone is also present, which is a good thing in males!QUALITY: Casein, Whey, and Egg are complete protein sources and 100% of these proteins consumed are absorbed. Soy protein is also a complete protein source and 99.8% of soy protein consumed is absorbed. Soy gets you all 9 essential amino acids and your body can effectively absorb all of it, the same as with casein, whey, or egg protein.NUTRITION: In addition to high protein content, this is a good source of iron (22% DV) with no fats or carbs and only 110 calories. However, it is fairly high in sodium (also 22% DV).TASTE: Neutral on its own, sort of like flour. At worst, bland but not awful at all. Delivers on being unflavored.EASE OF USE: Mixes really well with water or milk alone, and works well with other powdered foods & supplements, yogurt, cereal, smoothies, baking mixes, pancake batter, etc. The 30g serving is pretty filling and I like to drink it with a ton of water or milk and add 5g creatine, 16g powdered peanut butter, and 32g of chia seeds for lots of protein and fiber.VALUE: I did the math. Take my word for it that this is the most bang for your buck among all whey, casein, egg, soy, pea, and mycoprotein options on Amazon. This bucket IS the financial solution to supplementing your diet with high quality protein.

High quality protein powder packaged excellently
This high quality, unflavored, inexpensive soy protein powder is excellent. It comes in a high quality bucket which is easy to open with a pull strip and then opens easily by prying up the sides and closes tightly. Enclosed in the tub is a packet which keeps the product dry as usually comes in vitamin containers . It mixes with anything as it is not flavored with anything and is a very fine powder so does not clump. So far it is our favourite after trying 4 different types of protein powder.

The lid is impossible to remove!
I made it a 5 star review to make sure it gets seen by as many as possible. I wish I would have seen the reviews about the lid before I purchased it. It is literally a task and a half to pry the lid off. There are at least 6 other reviewers making the same complaint. We haven't even eaten it yet but I know I won't be buying it again. Near impossible to get the lid off. We had to use two knives and one heavy duty kitchen pair of scissors. It's unbelievable. So far 20 minutes gone just to break through the lid and now we have the job of trying to find a way to store it with a broken lid. Awful

as advertised, just bad texture
I haven't tried other soy proteins to compare this to but I felt it significantly impacted the consistency of my shakes in a negative way. great ratio of protein to calories but this isn't for me.

It's A Good, Easy Protein Source
This soy protein powder dissolves in water as easily as the whey does. (reviewed the whey in the past). To me, it tastes very slightly like soy beans. Also, I detect a slight, very fine, powder-like texture. Normally, I use this soy (as I do the whey) dissolved in water without flavor additives; no mucking about with a blender and other stuff. At my age, weight and activity level (lifting weights, still, for one) The tables I've seen indicate that I should have a minimum 60 g. per day. Difficult to do without the powder source as well. Because this soy powder is 25g. per serving as compared to 32g. for the same brand of whey, I need a bit more of this soy/day. Okay, yes, a pair of pliers is needed to start to remove the sealing strip that secures the top; not difficult to do, don't need pliers after the initial removal is started, pulls easily by hand then. These containers, once empties and cleaned, are great to use for other things that need to be tightly sealed. Am using one for left-over, exterior, foam-board foundation coating. Another for a remaining 1/2 gal of interior paint. In any case, being #2 plastic, they are recyclable, too.

NOT HORRIBLE
Added a flavored packet of vit C. Mixes well with liquid vitamins. Did not mix well with collegen and powder beets. I want to try powdered cocao. A person needs to have at least 40 grams of Protein EVERY DAY to replenish natural breakdown of muscle. LIKE YOR HEART!MORE for men, post MENOPAUSAL, healing from injury, stress or SURGERY. Then it's like 60 grams. This is THE MOST AFFORDABLE !!!!!I don't know how it tastes because I add liquid vitamins, and beet powder, frozen fruit, or different flavors of extract. I like orange or vanilla. This order is for EMERGENCY FOOD.I luv the reusable bucket!!

good stuff
tastes better than pea protein, its virtually tasteless. flavor it any way you like. mix with warm water to dissolve it almost immediately with no chunks. i flavor it with cocoa powder and stevia. its way healthier than whey protein, and easier to digest for me.
