Battery did not work
When I opened the box I was so pleasantly surprised about the look of the laptop. I plugged it in and everything appeared to work well. When I removed the charger, the laptop immediately turned off. The battery had not charged at all. I wish that a replacement battery or a replacement laptop would have been an option but I needed to return the entire laptop. I was fearful of getting into a buy and return cycle so I ended up purchasing a brand new laptop.

Excellent value
Works well and is exactly as advertised for a great price. Arrived quickly and with a special invoice from the seller with their contact information included. I was pleased to see that I didn't have to uninstall any bloatware, either. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Powerful for typical home use
Bought this refurbished laptop in 2023 to replace an old HP15 that finally died. This arrived clean and in good working condition - it doesn't appear to have been abused by previous owner(s). I really like having the SSD drive to speed up operations, and the 16GB RAM means I can open as many browser tabs as I want, without worry of crashing :-).Have had no problems with it in the several months since purchase, though the battery's charge-holding is beginning to fail so I'll have to buy a replacement battery soon.

I ordered an I5 16gb/512 SSD but I got an I7 instead. Great value , working nice so far. Its lightning fast

HP ELITE STOLEN PROPERTY???
I just received this laptop yesterday and it boots up to an Australian Prison login screen. I wrote a complaint to Amazon refurb store as the following....This HP Elite laptop that i purchased boots up to a "Queensland Corrective Services" login screen. It requires an email address from an Australian Prison officer. I have reinstalled Windows 10 and completely erased the hard drive during the process. it still boots to Queensland Corrective Services. I am requiring a full refund or a working replacement. I believe this laptop to be stolen property. Subsequently, if my requirements are not met I will be reporting this laptop to my local police as stolen property purchased through Amazon. I also require an immediate response and explanation of this problem.
