Beautiful clock. Heavier than expected (weight is not listed) and its up and running good so far after 24 hours. No problems with the time/chime being off like some folks have mentioned. One complaint isn't with the clock but with Amazon's poor shipping practices. This clock was shipped in its original box with no protection. The box was badly damaged but to my surprise the clock was not. I realize its to save money but Amazon needs to pack things better. It can't be saving money if a broken item needs to be replaced. But I've had issues with this for a very long time and I know its not going to change. The clock however is very pretty and looks great on my wall. I guess my only complaint with it would be that the auto shut off for a peaceful overnight would be that it starts up again at 6AM. Wish I could bump that an hour!!!

This clock is very well made with quality craftsmanship. It looks much more expensive than the cost and is beautiful hanging

I used this clock for a project to make a tall clock and it worked perfectly

For the money, I expected better quality

It say there is a volume control in description. There isn’t. Why not? I would like the volume louder. The description isn’t accurate because of this. It’s made well so guess we will keep it.

This is a very nice clock, as are most Howard Miller clocks. It is well made and looks great. Unfortunately, in the sleep mode, which turns the chimes off overnight, there is no way to adjust the shut off or wake up times. So the chimes will ring at 6:00 AM when it wakes up. I contacted Howard Miller and while they were prompt in their reply, they said all their clocks with this feature operate the same hours, with no way to adjust them. I wish they would change this, as not everyone wakes up by 6 AM.

I ran this clock for 24 hrs and never could get the chime to sync with the time. The biggest negative is the chime sounds are very fake and tinny. Oh, and if you have large hands, have fun getting the batteries out. Would I buy again? No
